I have access to a CNC and a bud that is into fabrication......I am considering making a version of transfer case saver similar to the pardi plate with added fixing points ont he bottom of the transfer case.

Does anyone have a picture of the old pardi plate?

Would this be something you guys would be interested in?

Could I market here on this site without violating the TOS?

Give me some feedback guys. Not looking to get rich off it but help us out and make a little.

 Do a search for "Pardi Plate Stiffener". I posted a few pics before on 2 different rigs. Sad that John decided to not make them anymore. Maybe PM him (pardion) for info he may be willing to share. It's not just the plate in his old kit, but there's a few spacers & hardened studs also included.

Any progress on this venture yet? I'd lke to see what added bracing design you have in mind. There aren't many options on rear tcase bracing other than the AA propellor style, which I run, or a DIY brace. I think it's a proven product, but lack of advertisement & word of mouth only, didn't help John's past sales :meh:

here's some pix I have saved over time. I'm interested in one.

FYI

Still trying to connect with John on details. The initial talk went well and he was interested........fingers crossed.........have things in place on my end for productiona nd possible modifications.....would like to do pre-sales orders then ship immediately thereafter......will let ya'll know.

I'm trying to contact Col Reb, sounds like you guy's are interested, Have not had any complaints on the stiffiner plate, or T/C failures. How many folks want one? Thanks, John Pardi

any issues with the speedo gear housing being spaced out? that's where the shims are for the shafts.

Nope. A supplied 3/8" thick spacer keeps your preload set w/ your shims. Maybe John can get us a pic of a complete unassembled kit (?)

<EDIT> IIRC, the cost of the kit was ~ $225.00 & that was back around 2001-2.

Hi John,
I would be interested depending upon cost and turn around time. I definitely liked the kit way back in the day when I got to install it:cheers:

I need a stop gap while saving lots of quarters toward Orion:lol:
I'll get some current prices to make up some kits, machining might be cheeper now since everyone does it. Steel and aluminum cost's more also the supplied Toyota studs and bolts. 10 years ago kits sold for $230.00 John Pardi

ok guys......just got my pardiplate kit from John today...having a part made then I will do a detailed write up if yall want with lots of pics.........if the response is good I think John and I may be makign and marketing these on a larger scale.......what do yall think?

what about offering the plans that way those with the tools and know-how can make their own at a savings???

please post up some pix of the actual parts B4 installing, please.

X2. This might allow those who run modified drivetrains to make allowances. EX- I run a SM420 with a Warden plate vs someone running an Extreem Bends plate. Or any other combo you could dream up. Basically a set of templates to work off of. Al
