don't forget to bring something that'll air up your tires!

Should be plenty of seats available. My only request? Ride up to the trail head with somebody else, then jump in. Unless you have ear plugs. Not kidding.

I will have a comfort ride in the tow vehicle to the trail head. you are welcome to ride w/ me.

I'll offer my services for on-call as needed recovery operations....

I think Maynard got me to play that roll a couple of years ago....

;)

Ill be working on Sunday, but if things get ugly, I can take Monday off for another awesome recovery trip!

So are we going to have a group coming in from 10 to the north? I guess if the two groups do meet it would make for a shorter day.

I'm in and I'll have a passenger who is flying in from Chicago just for this run.

Got chains! As usual they are a bit long and I'll size them better this weekend and remove the extra links. Bring on da'snow!

Long term forecast has a storm coming in late next week. We can only hope.

Jeeze, you guys sound like you are preparing for a run to the South Pole.
Just how much snow are you expecting?

I wouldn't be suprised if we hit 3 feet +. We turned around last time at about 18 inches and we weren't that far in yet. Snow is predicted next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Come on down!

Yes, you'll need someone to break trail....

You can break trail for me - even with chains on all four corners my little 33's might be wanting...

I honestly don't have enough patience for you to break the trail 10 yards/hour at a time...

He can take down that final inch for me though - you know, near the back...

Edit: Or, Juane, did you get some tires?

In case you've been busy and might have forgot... :flipoff2:

You would be driving a 320+ HP Supercharged DOHC 24-valve 4.7L I6 this weekend if you had done the rebuild+tweak and S/C install. Your wallet would be about $7k lighter but you wouldn't have that old beat up Cheby pickup taking up space in the front yard and that 55 year old V8 dripping oil all over your nice new garage.

Yes Mikey,
That's an attractive idea. I see that I can get a Supercharger for waaay less than I thought:
95-97 Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ80, M90 Eaton

And there is a machine shop in town familiar with Land Cruisers - he does does some work for Merle at Classic Cruisers. So there'd be good rebuilding resources here.

Be a lot LESS cerebralism involved than figuring out the Vortec transplant. And we all know my limitations in that department...

Still, I've always wanted to build a Chevy small block. Once that's done, and I get familiar with the EFI then I'll entertain application ideas. Maybe a 40. Maybe a first generation Blazer (can I say that here?).
Maybe just a corner in the shop.

Anyway, I got a total of 100 bucks into the project so far - Complete engine, transmission, T/C and all accessories.

Finally, Audrey needs braces, so all this might just be wet dreams.
(My fly-by-night dental insurance company will only pay half).
