Well I've been on here for a bit now but never introduced myself. So here is one of my Pigs. It's a 76 I picked up out of Michigan. It is in pretty good shape. Has a little bit of the usual rust. I got it because my first pig is a work in progress and I have a while to go before she'll be on the road
Here is the first Piggie. 70 that I got out of TX years ago for a steal on eBay. The body is amazing. I've since swapped a 3B into it with H55F behind it I need to get a few more photos up of it.

And then there is this 73 I picked up a few months ago. I got to go through everything but the shell with the frame will be going up on the classifieds when I get home from work.
And then there is this one. Just bought it in CA for parts. The seller actually worked an awesome deal for me and found someone who needs the frame so the guy is stripping all the parts I want and I'll send them across the country in the next eastbound container my company will ship.
I'm in completion with @bobm

Awesome! Can't wait to follow the builds!

Here's mine. 1973, Chevy V8 motor, slight lift, non-stock bumpers.

Great driver, everything works. Just needs better windshield wipers!

Welcome Toadvine50,

Looks like a good one. Tell us some more about it. The paint job looks familiar, did you paint it.

Nope, I can't take credit for the work. It was done by Tim Mason at HCC Performance here in Dallas.

It's meant to be a daily driver but we've been fiddling with fuel and oil pressure gauges, and other issues. Now, I think it's ready to go.

Just drove home my first Pig (or TLC for that matter).

1974 FJ55 (has a wolfsburg edition badge?)
Has a small block swap with th350 trans
Disc brake conversion
and a sweet ass bike rack rear bumper

I know absolutely nothing about classic imports as I am more of a hot rod and muscle guy. Recently had a kid though and saw this gorgeous pig for sale not too far from me. Excited about joining such a passionate group.

Murk,

Welcome to the group. Looks like it's set up pretty good, any plans for it, things to fix?

Thanks! I'm gonna go through the motor and see what condition it is really in. Depending on what I find, I have an LS 5.3 I can toss in it. From what I hear, now I just start hunting for parts haha. I need a driver side window regulator.

Other than that, I'm gonna lurk through this forum as much as I can to find some inspiration. Some really cool rigs here.

Hi,
This is my 74 Fj55, with a 5.7 tbi SBC my kids call her penelope from the movie, the girl with a pig ears and a snout. Anyway we just got her after Christmas, she is rough all around and rust every corner. But we love her.

This is a great community, i love this site.
Thank you.

Big Green! A lot of new wagons showing up. She looks to be built up well enough. What does your family like to do with her, camping, beach running, traveling. Good to have you aboard!

Thank you... we like camping, normally just campsite area.(with the Honda CRV) we would like to try a kind of overland expolaration camping.
But She is far away from being a Overland kind of vehicle. Needs lots off love. :)

You got a Wolfsberg Edition?!? Those Germans love them some Land Cruiser Pigs!

Just kidding. Not sure why there would be a VW badge on a small block Pig.

Can't wait to see more pics! 1974 seems to be the year of the survivors...

Welcome to the Pig Pen!
