I think I’m in the right place. I recently purchased a one owner 1972 fj55 in Dahlonega, GA. Plans are to get it running right, add a suspension lift from ome, add new tires and wheels, add power steering, add my 8274 winch and eventually fix some rust.

August 1973 with what appears to be a 305 that never ran in this chassis. I've seen better, I've seen worse, but it's perfect for me. I learned to drive in one of these things at 9 years old; probably six years of core memories made in a 55 from the 2nd to the 8th grade. I've walked around it, mostly avoiding looking at it, for the last week after tow dollying it home in a 46 hour round trip from just North of Austin to Santa Fe New Mexico and back. I'm not exactly sure what I'm gonna do with this thing but I am sure I'll make it see the road again.

Last shots are of the tow rig that belongs to my freshly turned 18yo kiddo's Sequoia that we slapped together then wheeled the San Juans (Ophir>Red Mountain>Black Bear>Imogene>Engineer>Cinnamon>California) four days before shooting back to Santa Fe to drag the Pig home.
