Wow. Is this turning into a mini SEMA?

Looks that way. From the booth layout it's doubled in size. Should be a fun time.

Cool thing is we have a nice spot we all can hang in so we aren't all scattered about. As well I'm bringing this along with a good friend of mine who is going to cook for us. Should be a blast.

For you guys that have been there; How stroller friendly is the site? Trying to decide if we want to pick up a front carrier for little man. Also, I now last year it said you had to buy a ticket to Biltmore in addition to to the expo ticket, but I cant find any reference for it this year?

Can't help with the stroller question, but I think I read in the earlier posts that the ticket is now included in the cost of the expo ticket price....

That's what it seems like, but a day pass for Saturday is only $35. I just couldn't believe that you would get access to both for just $35.

Stroller friendly, as long as it looks like this you can bring it. Otherwise, its a cornfield, last year a stroller would have struggled with the ruts. Papoose time.

@pkniland I think it's Osprey that makes a baby tote of some sort...I wanna say a back/frontpack convertible to that thing you put them in to sleep that keeps them off the ground? You can tell I've never had kids. REI's Labor Day sale has Osprey 20% off, IIRC. I saw whatever I'm talking about at the pineville location a few weeks ago.

I have one of the osprey kid carriers but Little Man wont be big enough for it by then. It's a really nice pack, just won't support his neck enough quite yet. I picked up a baby Bjorne which should work. You going to the expo @JohnVee?

@pkniland nope. I'm not. Can't remember where I'll be that weekend, though. I'd love to go and hang with the @Trollhole camp, but I have to admit that I think the price is a bit restrictive, at least given the money that my unemployed asss doesn't have right now.

I'm coming in on Friday, early.

I've got us a big area in front of my booth for all the cruiser clubs and cruiser vendors to camp and hang out. UC will have our canopy there and I believe ONSC will as well. A good friend of mine and his son will be bringing a commercial griddle and I along with Metaltech who has graciously offered to donate some money will pay for food all weekend long.

Our space will be right in front of booth #70 which is mine. When you come into the area park and register just like everyone else. Then upon leaving they will direct you to the main camping area which is to the left. Talk with whoever is pointing you and tell them You are with Upstate Cruisers and Trollholes Cruisers and they have reserved you a spot to the right. You will then go right on the road that runs behind the track and BFG area. Then look for the Clubs white canopy with Logo on it. That is our area. We have a water tank near our area along with bathrooms. I think you will like our side a lot better than the other side which has a tendency to be more like a frat party at times. My kids will be there as well as a lot of others.

I will do my best to help you out but I cannot drop what I'm doing and help you. Once the show starts on friday I'm locked into my booth. You can text me if you like and I'll see if I can help though.

Also not the camping place is for vehicles that plan on staying overnight. If your coming just for the day most likely they will park you elsewhere and you will be shuttled in. Still look for us as our camp is your camp you are more than welcome to use it as a home base. I'll try and bring some water as well. There will be plenty of food for the kids as well.

How would camping work if only there for Saturday night? Would I need to be a guest of Trollhole? Or is OE expecting payment for camping?

I may just run back to Uwharrie, camp, and then hit some trails Sunday morning on the way back to Raleigh.
