math says 12-14 with 25 psi. i think i was at 12.5 on the 37s.
i will dbl check when i get home

alrighty then, got the diff measured as promised looks like 14.5" at street psi and no drivetrain.

got my tcases back together, 23 spline front input crawl box, to a marlin total spline 21 spline 4.7 gearset. marlin ran a special on the triple drilled flanges last week and i picked them up for 10$ a piece :smokin:
i also left the interlock pill out of the rear case so i can get 2wd low low.
should be about 118:1 total reduction from the crank to the wheel.

the cases show where my OCD kicks in...... damn near clean enough to eat off. okay totally clean enough to eat off of.

Damn OCS overdrive. Wow.

Lookin' pretty sick man!! Can't wait to see it on the trail! :grinpimp:

nobody smart falls asleep near, or in, anything that i drive.

i think its also deceivingly high still.

i hope to have the drivetrain installed this week to get a better idea of real height.
in theory, it should be the same as the pick-up was.
the suspension is under a 5" lift, the BL is 1.5".
my sidewall adds another 6-8"

i wish i had $$$$$$ running out of my a$$ so i could link and coilover this rig, but alas i am a broke ass.
maybe not broke, but definitely not that rich either.

yep, spent the afternoon scrubbing the s*** out of it too.
the only options are the R series trans or the autos for this motor.
i am using the taco flywheel and clutch with the 3.0 TO bearing and R-150.

it will be nice to have a nice clean trans/tcase combo to bolt back in

we have access to high pressure steam guns at my work. I can get parts nice and clean. I did most of my engine bay:D

well i have been making some more progress.
yard work has taken some time
as well as mini trucks

checking out exhaust clearance etc.
i plan on making the crossover run under the trans instead of in the engine compartment. IMO this is one of the major factors in a 3.0 death. obviously this isnt a 3.0, but heat kills and i odnt want exhaust in the engine compartment.

drives side is gravy, the passenger side has all kinds of stuff in the way. after i rebend the fuel line and remove the extra brake line for the LSPV i will have plenty of room.

also started clearancing for the steering box.

should be able to get the trans/cases in this week.
also need to pick up some exhaust tubing

I think the orange truck should rally mcgrew LOL

Looking Good, your a busy man! I like the Mini, reminds me of my old one. Gotta love the look of a clean shave... Why the 2x behind L rear tire? you missing a Motor in that thing?

why dont you have that section of the exhaust ceramic coated to keep the heat in the pipes. or if you want to do it cheaper, just get some header wrap off ebay. its expensive in the store, but you can pick up whole rolls of it off ebay from guys that bought to much for there projects all the time. an it really does help under hood temp's.
i know some other anti heat tricks for cheap as well.

I'm not a fan of header wrap. It's not uncommon that it starts vehicles on fire.

Oil/grease/etc can collect on/under/in it, and eventually ignite. My dad has been on a bunch of car fires started by the stuff.

you guys mentioned the reasons i am doing it the way i am.
ceramic is too much $$$
wrap is ghetto.

it will be fine the way it is.

had a bit of an issue with my wheeler trip yesterday...
i really hate when the parts guy think he needs to think.
said he pulled parts from a VIN that i didnt provide, weird how i end up with a fxxxed up parts order.
i am glad this wasnt a customer rig i promised this weekend, otherwise i would be a lot more pissed.

i dont know if i have ever said this before, but how fxxxing hard is it just to do your job RIGHT.
at this point you dont even have to accell. just do it right. god damn.

anyway, trans is getting bolted to cases tonite, then hope to get it installed tomorrow.
