I have two deep, long drawers in the back of my work truck (2006 Suburban) that go all the way to the back of the middle row. Even with these two long, deep drawers, I am constantly out-of-room in them.
I would gather everything that you intend to store in the drawers to make sure you are allowing enough room...i.e. I think the "skinny" drawer with the foam is WAY cool, but be sure that you don't kick yourself later for not making it as deep as it's sister.
Good job.
nicely done!
one other thing about the fridge (if that's what I think it is) is that you should make sure the recess is big enough that it won't be an issue if you decide to change models, and also that it won't impede the air flow from the condensor -that might affect greatly the performance of the fridge- again depending on the model.
The void is going to be storage but I didnt finish it before making the images. The remaining space behind the drawer and to the right of the void will be a closed in air space for the woofer.
The space near the speaker is a small book shelf. I wanted them easily handy yet still protected by them selves and not floating around with all the other stuff.
Check the wheel arches here...from mine that I just built I don't think there is space for books in that spot.
but looking good.
the drawer under the fridge, you want to make sure you can still open the fridge fully without having to slide the fridge out. I am just saying you don't want to go too high. with mine you can have the tailgate up and still get into the fridge and after having the convince I would have it any other way.
So I did a really basic sketch...
Don't tell people what to do!Oh...and thank MOT![]()
I would love to get my hands on those bolts that you have. I was already trying to decide how I was going to source those.
619toy where did you buy your bolts from? i called a ton of fastener companies and nobody could get me them, so i ended up ordering the 8 I needed in stainless buttonhead from England, they will be here next week. If i go ahead and start making my aluminum setup for sale i need to find a quantity source.
