Eventually added a aluminum angle iron to protect the lip about drawers. I had a fridge slide for years in the back. Just became a hassle every time you wanted something. Had to open either the swing outs or the tailgate and hatch.
Just getting ready to do an upgrade to the 42-gallon LRA auxiliary tank, which cascades into a bumper and tire carrier. This is when I finally figured out this is what gull-wing windows are for. I'll be able to reach right into the fridge.
I wouldn't necessarily call these the "best" in terms of features (at least the style I have) but the quality is very good and I would say among the best in that regard. These Goose Gear basic drawers have worked very well for me for the past 7-8 years since I put them in. They are roughly 8" tall so not as tall as some others but I actually like that because when the middle row is folded down it's nearly a level surface and makes for a comfortable sleeping platform. No fancy extra pullouts for stoves, fridges, cutting boards etc, just two large drawers with quality latches and slides. The side compartments have folding lids that also lock. Last year I built some DIY boxes to drop into the middle row area to make a more complete sleeping platform. I built two boxes for this area so that, if needed, I can leave one middle row seat in place if I have an extra passenger but still have a full length platform on the opposite side. Used marine hatches on top and a simple door on the sides for easy access to everything.
Nothing flashy but very practical for my uses. Goose Gear products aren't cheap but they are excellent quality. They have lots of different configurations and if I'm not mistaken you can have them configured in any way you like with whatever features you desire. Good option.
Best bang for the bucks that is no longer exist....Landshark KISS drawer system. I scored from a MUD member that is practically new and im still assembling it.
