Trust me on this one; we eat our own weight in pizza without shame.

PS a stoner professional cook turned me onto them so I cannot think of a better person to take recommendations from, honestly

This is my fav.

A warning on those - my friend has a dairy allergy and had a HORRENDOUS reaction to their pizza :( After reading online reviews she realized many others have suffered due to their poor labeling. There is dairy somewhere in there manufacturing process despite vegan claims.

Which stinks because she said it was delicious.

Decided to fire up my solo titan today just to see what all the fuss is about. After it was burning for a bit I figured why not do a little cooking on it?

I'm glad to see that somebody else cooks over theirs. Grill or skillet...it's an awesome little device.

Now let's see some venison cook pics!

Freschetta is my go to frozen pizza. California pizza kitchen brand is good too. We usually will do a cheese pie and add our own fresh toppings.
Tried this last night. Cheese pizza and I added fresh spinach and mushrooms. Damn good. The crust was surprisingly light and airy. I bought the thin crust version today to try next. My local Harris Teeter didn't have the Mike's pizza that @jvalex suggested; I'll expand my shopping horizons and find it before long.

Guess I know what I’m having for dinner tomorrow night. I’ll dig out some venison and give the solo another use. Lol

Not cooking really but it's food. One of my Xmas presents was a Japanese made sushi knife and kit from Andrea. Went and got some sushi grade fish today. Will post done pics at dinner time.

We bought takeout sushi Saturday night from our local restaurant. $70 and one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. They must have started cutting corners which seemed to include the size of the rolls. Looks like a need to find a fish monger with sushi grade options and start making my own.

My contribution, 11lb brisket smoked on my new Weber Smokey Mountain cooker.

I have struggled for years to make a good brisket on my propane grill. Yes, I was cheap and this was a bad idea. On propane, the brisket was dry, even with a water pan and basting, the bark was thick and hard and the meat was bitter. With the WSM, it was set it and forget it. It cooked from 9:30am to 8:30pm but the results was amazing. It was difficult to lift because the weight of the meat and tenderness made it want to fall apart. We made brisket dinner, brisket sandwiches, BBQ brisket, for several days. I was still had 1 or 2 lbs left that was just unsafe to eat after so many days.

I can't wait to do a pork butt or some ribs next.

Certainly a lot easier for Al to find sushi grade fish than us here. Try Locals Seafood - one of the owners (Lin) is a good friend with @southerncruiser62. They bring fresh fish from the NC coast daily - of course that limits you to what's in season in NC.

Yeah I actually tried to make sushi when I first moved to charlotte and couldn't find an outlet. That was due to lack of options and also that I was new to the area.

Another possible source.
