Cold outside so what else to other then cook!

Breakfast casserole that never gets old and feeds us for a few days.

Dinner is prepped and ready for roasting - pork loin stuffed with honey wine poached pears, Gorgonzola, walnuts and panko then wrapped in prosciutto...another worthy repeat!

That breakfast casserole looks a lot like one that we often do. Lasts a few days but also holds heat like nobody's business for some reason!

I'd love to see a cooked pic of the pork.

The only thing I did for the meal today was open the Honeybaked box. Sarah and her sisters did everything else.

Yes - the casserole stays hot forever!

Thanks....it tasted pretty damn good too!

I purchased one of the Weber pellet grills, smokefire ex4 when it was $200 off on cyber Monday. I’ve done an initial burn in, one shorter cook and then the pork butt low long and slow cook. Happy with it so far. One feature I liked was its ability to cook as low as 180ish and as high as 650*. I don’t think I will retire my Weber Smokey mountain bullet yet but the pellet grill is so much less hands on and doesn’t require babysitting during overnight cooks.

Ham hock because they're the critter we eat that moves forward (moving forward into the new year).

No cleaning of any sort is to happen on new years day.

Make sure you listen to Grandma...they know a thing or two because they've seen a thing or two.
 
I finally have a new (working!) oven after about 8 years. Problem is, I went to buy a frozen pizza last night and didn’t recognize any of them since I hadn’t bought one in almost a decade. My choice proved to be a failure. What do you all like for a quick pizza (frozen) that isn’t take out?

Freschetta is my go to frozen pizza. California pizza kitchen brand is good too. We usually will do a cheese pie and add our own fresh toppings.
