Real time help: What do I do with this? It interrupted my cat fishing night.

Don't kill it, dress it, and then leave it in your big freezer in the basement for 10 years hoping your German sister-in-law will make turtle soup out of it . . .only to have your freezer die and find out a month later due to the smell while the freezer is closed. < Hypothetically speaking . . .or, my Dad :)

Looks real good.
Do you mind posting up the smoker you use?
I want to try this at some point.

It was $799 when I bought it 2.5 years ago. I love it and it runs through the night with no constant babysitting.

@Green Hell Mustang I finally did the Cook’s Illustrated eye of round in the oven that you turn off for the second half of cooking. Just realized we discussed this back on the Portsmouth trip when we were in the round cabin. 2015 or 2016! Damn, I’m slow.

Shoshito peppers courtesy of a local guy who prefers to lay low but probably secretly loves getting the mention. ;)

Seems I need to replace my ancient, almost unused jar of horseradish. It failed to have any taste.

That's funny. I am growing shishito peppers this year. Just made the first batch to go with dinner tonight. So damn good.

Toss in neutral oil for roasting, then two parts soy sauce to one part sesame oil after, toss, finish with just enough fleur de sel.

That's a beautiful thing right there.

Rain tried to interrupt the smoke but carport to the rescue. Wings and poblanos. Sadly no shishitos here this year.
