what do you normally use it for?
Proper weight distribution on the right side of a closet shelf. Today was the first time I used it for something else in the 2 years I've had it.

Hey, plenty of you guys like to go to the trails and break sheeet, here is a chance to do it and win enough to partially fix what you broke! Kidding aside, might be fun to watch and they have a Taco Truck.

When the Upstate 420 Attorney is a sponsor, it may be a good time.

Hope it fares well. Reminds me of my time in the Keys. Cross tying boats on trailers out into the jungle, doing the same with boats in canals. That blow boat up on stands looks scary as hell.

Little man, big mouth on a scooter. LC with big bumper. Hmmmmm

Completely unplanned purchase, but a nice score for the weekend. FB Marketplace...a young Soldier here in town put his Smittybilt roof top tent up for sale because he's getting stationed overseas and didn't want to take it with him. It was used once (still has some of the tags on it) and even the cover looks brand new. It will eventually get mounted on the trailer I'm trying to design.

CSI anyone? Things that make you go hmm..... Woke up this AM to assess damage from the storm. This hurricane was a wuss (thankfully), just noticed one random limb in driveway- thunderstorms usually yield much more yard debris. Nearby the limb, I notice some large tire ruts just off the edge of driveway, perilously close to one of my large poplars. Two small pieces of plywood siding(not mine, nor sourced from my shed) was used by perp as Maxtraxx devices for extrication, and left as evidence. My nearby shed showed no signs of entry (two long 2x6 boards left untouched which would have been helpful, nothing taken from shed). We had one unlocked car in driveway about 50' ahead left untouched. Spot of infraction was about 15' behind the limb that fell, although only a 3 inch caliper limb that I would normally drive over in the cruiser heading out my driveway. This spot is approx 75' from my garage and front of house. Had my security dog been out on the porch, he would have done his job, ahem....

UPS had last delivery at 430pm, and I walked the driveway at 5pm. This damage had to have occurred between 6 pm and 8 am, and given no mud tracks in driveway or street, the last round of rain washed away all signs of mud from the scene by 4AM. Ruts filled up with silt and heavy rain, no fresh tracks leaving the scene. So it was a late night activity near as I can tell. My nearby security cam seems to have shut off a few days ago, of course.

Speculation: A car or small pickup got stuck and just happened to have a plywood board handy. This was a small wheelbase vehicle, not a UPS truck. It was not a 4x4, rut was only 6-8 inches deep and there are no signs the rear wheel had traction.

Perhaps a delivery person, but all signs say that isn't the case- we had all expected deliveries received by 4pm and are not expecting anything today. I think the limb in driveway stopped forward progress, the perp decided to back out. The tire marks indicate the front tires swinging out from an angle suggesting the limb caused driver to turn toward that side of driveway, before backing out, and getting stuck after the rear wheels left pavement. We have had some random teenage delinquents knocking down mailboxes, driving through lawns etc the past two weeks, maybe this is related, I dunno.

This is a bit different, with someone choosing to enter a 200' driveway under the cover of a hurricane- seems like a the basis for an average TV drama plot, lol ? The house can look quite dark, no lights in driveway, nor spots ( I hate lights outside), and it can't be seen from street in summer very well; generally the house may have looked vacant. Hmm. Maybe nothing at all, but more security is in the offing, as if I don't have enough already...;)

Love our Ring cameras... They're not perfect but we've had similar questions about what happened and was (in some cases) able to go back and review.

Good Luck with the updated plan! Glad to hear it was a non-event and more of an opportunity to learn

Not sure where to put this or if you can even see it, but holy cow:

There's a lot of videos of that popping up on social media from different angles! Looks scary as F!!!!

First I heard of it today included the story of "fireworks warehouse", and the words "mushroom cloud". Hmmm.

They were storing confiscated munitions there. Fun times

i wonder if they missed a secondary trigger on a "confiscated device"?

I’ve been wanting a chest freezer for a long time. Ordered one at Lowe’s in early March. They gave me a delivery date of 7/4. The next day they called to say 7/20. I put zero faith in their ETA because I understand the pandemic situation. Woke up today to a 7:20am robocall saying delivery within 30 minutes. It’s sitting in my basement right now. Boo yah! Time to go buy a ton of bottled water or block ice because it’s way bigger than I expected. However, anybody who loves to hunt but hates to dress/store/eat their kill...I’m your huckleberry, I’d love to have some game in my stash.
