Heather found one of these at one point, sitting in a fenced lot. I tracked down the owner, it was sold already and the guy was paying him off. Heather wanted a sleeper, just lowered a little, otherwise stock on the outside and interior.

I was thinking something like an Art Morrison Chassis with a 5.3L and a 6 speed manual. Heather wants an auto. I have seen one other since.

Just in case

Two questions, does it come with the shorts and do the lions call it "rolling buffet" or "soft wrap meat taco"?

Actually, there was one this morning at cars and coffee, the yellow one.

What happened to our BOD elections? Did I miss it?

There was no election. There was only one confirmed nominee for each position, so they will be installed at the meet and greet.

Is there "hazing" involved for the installation of officers of ONSC? Just curious........

The bad jokes on here are a form of hazing.

I forgot to post this until reading of @jamesurq 's trailer wheel issue... Friday afternoon I watched the left rear wheel fly off of a Mercedes S500. He got off the road safely but high centered on the entrance to the construction site he pulled into just barely out of the traffic lane, so I had no place to safely pull over to assist for over 1/2-mile. Ironically, there was a Benz dealer on the other side of the road. I wonder if he just had a service??? And, no...I didn't stop to help at that distance knowing that there were other people at the construction site who could assist.

Not a fan of the hot wheels look. Needs Hutchinson bead locks and real tires. And a respray in flat green.

Hey folks, my son is looking to purchase a 4Runner, probably one that is around 5 or 6 yrs old (based on his budget). We've had a number of 4Runners in our family, but they've been in the '99 to '06 range. I'm not familiar with the 4Runners in the 2011-2013 range, as far as if anything has changed (in a negative way) from a quality perspective. Are they still pretty solid?
My other question is related to rust - he's looking at one that the Carfax shows came in from PA and there is some surface rust underneath (though not bad really), but I was wondering if anyone here knows if Toyota did (or does) any type of "rust prevention" coating to slow down the inevitable rust factor? I know with some manufacturers, certain components (like brake lines) can rust out faster than others. Obviously, we all want a rust-free vehicle, but I also don't want to overreact over some surface rust, particularly if Toyota does (er, did) any rust prevention treatment. Anyone have any 4Runner knowledge to share? Thanks!

I lived 30 miles North of Philadelphia for 35 years, I would personally not buy a used car from PA. They use insane amounts of salt on the roads. I used to put a couple lawn sprinklers under my trucks a couple times during winter and every Spring. i also sprayed waste oil under the truck as well. Still got rust.

That'll put a damper on your day for sure.

Thanks for the response - maybe I'll just stick with Plan A and tell him to pass on anything that's not from the South. ;)

Yeah. That mustang totally could have lost control of a burnout and wrecked the lambo ;)

that looks like the 4x4 version of the 6x6 version that MB made a few of. (the yellow one). rare and big money. much more rare than that white lambo.

Did you see if it was on portal axles or not?

that Shmee character stands out as a douche in the land of douches that is youtube.
