Not related to the bearded wonder above but....
What kind of floor mats is everyone using? I had Weathertech in my 4Runner and loved them but I have read reviews saying that they did not for a LC very well. Any lower price options that work well? They don't have to be molded....just something that looks nice and works well.
@mtweller when were you gonna tell us about your twin brother and his music career ?

That was a hard used vehicle. lots of kids, several girlfriends, lots of in and out action. when new they were fine, but over time they got loose and so I kicked them to the curb..... And the floormats were terrible too.

Weathertech plastic/molded in daughter #1's Subaru and in daughter #2's 80. Haven't experienced any slippage but then again, without my knowing it, wife applied some double stick tape to driver side floor of 80 that appears to have the consistency of tar! Hoping there is never a need to remove that tape as I don't think it's coming off, at least without some cursing & gnashing of teeth....Weathertech rubber in our '07 Avalon, Lloyd's rubber mats in the 62 and 40
@weejub How did the xmas tents from thatdailydeal.com go over? I still need to patch the hole in mine and figure out a waterproofing solution.
@weejub I thought I remembered you saying you were getting the closeout tents that @sleepycruiser, I think, had posted a few months ago. I know a bunch of us bought some so maybe it wasn't you.
I think Sarah is finally seeing some value in a base camp tent that you don't have to crawl into on your hands and knees. I know...sheesh...thought that day would never come. Might be shopping soon for something nice and tall. That'll only bring us to 4 tents. Nothing wrong with that, right? 1-p, 2-p, 3-p and, hopefully, freakin' circus! I can see it now:
You: John, aren't you gonna set up your tent?
Me: Yep, but the elephant is busy raising Izzy's tent pole first.
The pic is the closeout tents. I think I got the Pinion. They had already sold out of the Bristlecone.
