Do you know someone that could buff it out, if I were to cut it down?

I've used a company in Olathe to do some detailing on my dd. Palladium Motor Sports I'm pretty sure they are set up to buff paint. They are not as thorough as I used to be. But who has the time to pull out their interior just to wax the inside of the car anymore.

On some projects they will also come to you to work so you wouldn't have to haul it to them.

That is something that I definately have alot of experience with being a refinish tech for 10 years, I have done plenty of polishing. As for someone in your area, I don't know anyone around there I could suggest. If you were willing to trailer, I would definately be willing to help out.

sweeeeeet. Did you center the rear axle in the wheel wells?

Did not do anything with it. Can I just move it wherever I want? I will have to look into this....

I assumed that I had to keep the axle at the pin point of the spring pack, unless I flip the springs.

I centered mine by drilling new centerpin holes on the spring perches.

Guess I should think about that. ...

Trying to decide what to do next. Plan is to put together the vent again, (the old ones actually opened) need to find some weatherstripping for that. Then, I guess I need to work on making the new wiring harness. Starting to think about upgrades: Radio and speakers, wires for towing, relays for headlights, power to back for accessory wiring, winch wiring?, etc.

Hard to focus right now..... need to make a list of order to do things.

Looking at having some instrument gauge clusters replated, maybe ashtray, and misc small pieces too. Anyone know of a place in kc to do small batch work?

I assume you're looking for powdercoating not paint. Since that is obviously one of your skills. I have talked to these guys in Olathe, but have yet to use them. Sounded like they would do small jobs as well as whole frames. Rogers Powder Coating

Actually, I was thinking of replating, so chrome plating kind of thing.

You could try something like this: EW Liquid Chrome & Clear Kit

I have used a similar product from a company called Alsa Corp. I wouldnt quite call it a "chrome" finish, but more towards aluminum. If you were going to go with stainless bolts, this stuff would accent something like that very well.
