Pics say it all. What are my options? Does anyone remember where the bottom of this line goes? I'm dreading taking my lifter cover off... I really hope I don't have to pull the motor to access it. Any help is very appreciated!

Cut it and a compression union?

Or get a replacement tube from SOR. on "THIS" page, click on the left tab.

I sent you a pm.

Besides being Metric that a pretty small tube for compression fitting. Personally would use small tubing cutter cut the section out. Use slightly larger piece of copper tube and use it as a coupling. Could get away with soft solder versus Sil-Fos or silver solder. Done this many times on cap tub air-conditioning units.

Only the side cover needs to come off for a new line -

Or you can try to pull out the tube so you can cut the tube and get a compression fitting on as Skreddy said, but you run the risk of getting bits of copper in the lifter area and the tube touching a push rod.

Pull the battery, coil, PCV and take off the distributor cap and wires, not hard to take off the side cover. Make sure you have a new gasket as well as your favorite scraper/cleaner setup handy.
