Complete 40 ebrake unit.
Remarkably dirty but also remarkably little wear. The brake cable has the "T" end, not the hoop.
Figure it is easiest to just pull the 4 bolts and replace the whole unit for anyone in need of a parking brake (Logan's Run folks?).
How about a 6 pak of suds?

Deal!
Despite my best efforts (including a rebuild) and with assistance and oversight from others, the parking brake on the LV doesn't work. I could possibly benefit from this as the LV doesn't have an adjustment on the firewall and I think my cable needs replacing.
Done.
What an honor to get something I used to own bolted onto the LV. That's a win for me!
Mudship from GSO to Charlotte anyone?
Maybe/might be going to the car auction in Greensboro tomorrow. It's somewhere off Wendover. The 9 year old needs to decide if he wants to look at OLD cars. I'll post up when it is decided. Work in Charlotte, and have met David few years back.

Thanks Rice! I know we'd talked months ago about having you come down and wrench on the LV sometime during the summer when you had some free time. The offer still stands.Done.

With Frugal McDoogals nearby my house, I bet I can find you a six pack you'll enjoy.
I should be around next week if it's easier to hand off parts to me instead of David (since he mass-transits to work). Or maybe I can pick up David from work and we all meet for lunch. Or maybe it's just time to post up a midweek ONSC lunch in CLT...Maybe/might be going to the car auction in Greensboro tomorrow. It's somewhere off Wendover. Me three ....
judging by his price i don't thihnk he'd touch 2k... but you're rightBefore you do, look into what is involved in making the ECU work in the target vehicle. I have limited knowledge on the subject but I have read that the biggest isssue with a Toyota motor as the donor is getting the electronics right. I have heard that the computer uses more than just engine sensor input. I know Slee does the Toyota swaps and read in a thread there is around 40 hours just in wiring.
Do your homework first.
