John, I used it primarily to make things for rc 4wd's, 3/16" and 1/4" stainless and carbon steel tube. This is used for brazing; and also if you need to apply extreme heat to a very precise location. It can be used to braze all manner and sizes of metals, incl radiators, joining sheet/angle/rod/tube, plumbing, etc. It is very commonly used in jewelry making.
