What size do you need?
Big or bigger. seriously I don't know. I've loved using my current vise and it was not small. It probably weighs 50 to 60lbs.

Chinese made Wilton. It will likely brake just like your previous one.
Thanks. I notice a HUGE price difference between that "Wilton" and the others.
BTW, bullet Wilton vs the square slide Wilton. Is there a difference? The bullets look cool and are jaws are bigger but the square slide is slightly cheaper.

The huge difference in price is on par with the huge difference in quality. Most (I think all) Wilton bullets are still made in the USA. Their price and quality reflect this. Most all other Wiltons, like the ones you see in big box stores are foreign made (not Japan JDM quality like Toyota). These aren't necessarily bad vises, just no where near the quality of the bullets and their price is much lower.

I don't think I would ever buy a new vise from a retailer as there is such a good market second hand AND that is where you can find the older quality USA made ones. That Wilton is included a link to retails new for ~1500.00 and he's asking 600. I bet you could throw out a cash offer of 450 and he'd call you back in a few days to make the deal...or keep looking on craigslist and something else will come available.

I don't have anything for sale at the moment in the size you are looking for and the bigger ones I have would be out of your price range.

Just curious for now...

Is anybody interested in swapping a set of 315/75/16 mud terrains for the same size BFG KO2's (less than 4K miles over 15 months)?
Why the change Mr. Vee?

Top secret project for now. My original post edited for clarification. The goal would be to get MT's back on the green 80. No fault of the KO2's at all. They've been great at what they've done while I've had them and I'm quite impressed.

@GLTHFJ60 You're one to talk. :poop:

EDIT for clarity: YOUR mud tires for MY all terrains.
Would you consider a set of Uniroyal Tiger Paws off of a Ford Splash?

There just might be a very clean white 96/97 Cruiser with no lockers and 120K miles up for sale soon. From what I can see, this truck is pristine and the owners just don't drive it any more. He has not given me a price but I advised him that with only 120K miles, it would be worth $10K and would only go up from there.

Louisiana had Katrina Kars, will we have Matthew Motors? Carfax would be interesting to see on that one, especially for that price.

That is always on my mind. I don't even search east of Raleigh any more - no offense to our eastern neighbors intended. :)
