Hmm . . . .1997 Toyota Landcruiser

Might be a good place to start. It would need a new engine, rebuild the transmission, all new suspension and axles w/ locksers (also currently for sale), trail armor.

an unlocked 80 that needs a new engine and tranny is $1000 tops

That is what I talked with him about Al. He thinks the turbo system alone is worth $1K. The fact that it threw a rod through the block at 7 lbs of boost eludes the seller

oh snap there is a turbo system involved..... I didn't read that far doh!!!!

that does change things, turbo kits are some high dollar things

I am thinking this particular system has issues. I told him I'd be interested at $500-$1K and he can keep the turbo and DVD system

he'd do well to take that and sell the turbo separate he'd make more than his asking price

Anybody got a harmonic balancer for a 60/62? It is the three groove HB/pulley. I believe the 62 version is a tad smaller but should still work for my 60. Let me know.

Anyone have an opinion on a carbureted 1987 Corolla? Thinking about this one as a 4th car / kids car for high school.. I may also drive it back and forth to work and Morrisville.

no SUV that old is worth that much, unless it is incredibly rare or has a ton of of mods done to it.

I would imagine that this 62 would be a sweet driver and worth a fair bit more once someone does the @roadstr6 buffer technique to it!

His technique can literally make poo sparkle... Well poo color at least

Good deal for someone not looking to do a ton of work

@tgadd - maybe call this guy and offer him a Hundo for the snake blinders.

Wonder if we can talk @roadstr6 into doing a "sparkle" lesson. I'd be there.

I'd definitely pay a beer for some wisdom.

I am by no means a professional detailer but I'd be glad to share what little knowledge I have.

I'm relieved to know that a "sparkle lesson" is something to do with detailing - count me in . . . my truck could be the example if wanted . . . .

:) Happy Monday!
