This has to be something a welder dude like you can repair. If the trouble is under the skid can you fix from the inside?

Anyone want some free usable tires/wheels? They ain't lookers but they are functional. Located in Charlotte

I want my garage back, and don't want to give them to the dump

Are these still avail? Have an experiment to try if they are.

I can likely weld it up from the inside, but what scares me is that I didn't see a split before I installed it last time. I intend to repair if I can't find a good replacement.

Looking for a class 3/4 trailer hitch for a FJ60/62.One with the 2 inch receiver. new / used / whatever you got that is still decent shape/ can be blasted and painted better.

@krzyabncanuck I think I have one of these still.

Stan, if its legit, I can buy it and we can work something out. Id like the engine and wheels/tires, and maybe the electrical harness and some other misc stuff. If it has lockers, I intend on swappin axles out with my non-locked ones.

I hope he calls me back, cause I'm going to be over at Elon Univ tomorrow morning, and can drive by after that.

I need some fenders if they are are solid. Please include me on this group buy.

I never got a call back from the guy with the tree squashed 80 series in Burlington. Did anyone else hear back from him? After two messages, I kinda gave up.

Awesome! (In one of those crazy "rice, what are you thinking?" Kind of ways).

In Charlotte, right?

Mudship request .... Anyone making their way between Charlotte and the Triad in the next week or so?

(If mudship doesn't work I'll try coming down one day next week)

Thanks!

James, save me a whiteboard please.

Also, there were some others on here some time ago thinking a white board would be a good idea to have in the garage to keep a "hit list" on.

@jamesurq I'd like 2 whiteboards (without the tape, if I can be so bold)

@Rice I can deliver George's tires/wheel to Relic Run if you like. If not, let me know when you're coming to CLT so we can grab a beer - at George's house if need be!

Thanks John. My hope is to have them ready in time for the relic run so I may just need to make a run down there during my spring break. Will keep you posted.

I'll buy you a beer for the rim. I don't have a spare and want to move back to 15" when I can find some.

@tgadd, Not trying to stick my nose in your business but you might want to ask @jamesurq if the rim is riveted or welded. You will not be able to use a riveted rim with disc brakes. FWIW, James' truck would have originally had riveted wheels. This one could be either. He will have to confirm this for you.

I'd just hate to see you mount a tire on a riveted wheel with the thought that it would be 100 percent useable. The rivets won't clear your front brake calipers. I suppose you could keep a riveted wheel as a spare to use in the rear (drums) but if you had a front flat you'd have to move a rear wheel to the front and then use the riveted wheel in the rear. That's a lot to do on the side of the road.

Sorry to rain on anybody's parade. Just trying to keep it real up in here!
