I emailed a parts list to my local dealer and he could still get all the parts except main bearings in all sizes are discontinued. My invoice picture has two different size pistons and rings. Rod bearings are available in .25mm undersized. These are part numbers for a 84 2F

Yah I know i order almost exclusively from the UAE or japan but they where showing no stock on most of the parts and wanted to see what my local guys could come up with, I’m lucky the parts manager is old and been doing this 35 years and loves cruisers!I almost hate dealing with my local Toyota dealership, if I don't show up with part numbers they actually like they can't find anything over 20 years old.
Maybe I should give them a hard time.

Yeah, I got all of my rebuild parts from you 10 years ago now, I thought I remembered you kind of stepped away from the sales side.I still assist folks on a consulting basis only now.

I don’t think I’ve ever charged more than a $150 per hour depending on project.
Respectfully, Holy ****! A set of pistons and rings will set you back $1,750-ish. those are msrp prices can likely be had by most smart shoppers for 20-30% less.Respectfully, Holy ****! A set of pistons and rings will set you back $1,750-ish. And... your wallet is just getting warmed up.
FWIW, I think I paid $2,200 for a complete LS1 from a wrecked Corvette with 22K miles, then add a couple hundred for shipping.
And free shipping.@japan
