Who is the source nowadays for OEM engine parts for 2Fs?

Any mud vendors?

I emailed a parts list to my local dealer and he could still get all the parts except main bearings in all sizes are discontinued. My invoice picture has two different size pistons and rings. Rod bearings are available in .25mm undersized. These are part numbers for a 84 2F

I almost hate dealing with my local Toyota dealership, if I don't show up with part numbers they actually like they can't find anything over 20 years old.

Maybe I should give them a hard time.

Yah I know i order almost exclusively from the UAE or japan but they where showing no stock on most of the parts and wanted to see what my local guys could come up with, I’m lucky the parts manager is old and been doing this 35 years and loves cruisers!

I still assist folks on a consulting basis only now.
Yeah, I got all of my rebuild parts from you 10 years ago now, I thought I remembered you kind of stepped away from the sales side.

FYI, y'all, this isn't for my 40.

I'm helping a buddy and his son rebuild an engine. (As if I'm any kind of technical resource) I have a PhD in toilet mint exchange at local breweries, in my spare time I'm a carney man with the traveling circus.

I will just put this out there....:)
Might as well redo the entire drivetrain with that under the hood!

Respectfully, Holy ****! A set of pistons and rings will set you back $1,750-ish. And... your wallet is just getting warmed up.

FWIW, I think I paid $2,200 for a complete LS1 from a wrecked Corvette with 22K miles, then add a couple hundred for shipping.

those are msrp prices can likely be had by most smart shoppers for 20-30% less.
