$36 seems like a GREAT price and much lower than i thought it would end up being,,,, i am IN as soon as they go live on the site.

Hello,

OEM price would easily be twice as much.

ok gang, here is the final product, @bhicks will be working on getting them up on the website for sale soon.

I am totally blown away by the quality of these parts, I am even more blown away at the effort and dedication that was put into making these small parts for our community.

Thank you bh3d !!!

Nice. That grommet really tied the room together!

It's been a WAY longer journey and a WAY bigger learning experience than I had expected but the column inserts are finally ready. We made one batch of 50 to start things off. If they sell then we will make another smaller batch and continue to do that until sells drop off. If they are super popular and sell fast then please be patient. I only have one machine that is set up for this type of rubber printing. My 75 machine assembly line can't help me with this product. We will eventually make a pair for everyone who wants one. Here are the links to our website, ebay, and etsy. Unfortunately I have to charge a bit more on ebay and etsy due to their seller fees. I can't avoid that.

Also for those of you who aren't aware, we also make a cup holder for the 70 Series. We make a console mount design for folks with a center console and a floor mount design for folks with no console. Odd Iron Offroad is our vendor. We are simply the manufacturer.

I too just managed to buy one off of eBay. I honestly have no idea the purpose this serves but it looks great. Take my money

Someone said somewhere that it is a factory soft top part to keep moisture annd dirt out. It was not available OEM as a standalone part and that it only came with the stalk.

In my opinion, all of the cruisers should have had this.

That area looks unfinished without them. Can’t unsee it now! Purchased two sets for my rigs and a couple badges while I was there.

Many thanks for bringing these piggies to market @bhicks ! Appreciate you.

As someone with an actual softtop cruiser I was able to order one.

I plan on driving through the car wash with the top off to see how well they protect.
I'm really hopeful that was a joke. If not, don't do that. That is as bad of an idea as when your drunk buddy tells you to pull his finger.

If you're ever in San Diego for whatever reason I'll lend you some scuba gear and then we can hit up all the drive through car washes.

Then we can hit the local gas stations for our special $6-$7/gal diesel.

If the Brits can make a waterproof canvas top, surely Toyota can. 😊
I don’t recall this one leaking even in heavy rain. It however required a complete roll of paper towels to keep the inside of the windshield clear during rain.

I have been known to do some stupid things but I was definitely joking on the car wash. Even my son won’t fall for the pull my finger trick. Of course he’s 14 and just figured it out a few months ago.

There is a plan to visit my friends in Long Beach, he’s a 40 guy but imported my 74 and a special trakka troopy that’s made the rounds.
. So we aren’t far from San Diahhgo.

I’m down for scuba wash and $7.00 diesel 😳

Thanks for all the orders guys. We started with 25 pairs and are down to 8 pairs. My guess is the first batch will be gone by tomorrow but we will start a 2nd batch tomorrow morning. As they come off the machine we will continue to update inventory each day. If you see "sold out" just check back the following day.
