I will definitely do that. I just wanted to get as much feedback as possible before I made that batch of passenger side boots. I made the adjustments that I think were needed and that batch will get started on Monday.

In addition to heat, I sprayed some windshield cleaner on the stalks beforehand. Everything slid together perfectly.

Mine slipped over the stalks without any fuss

. I did widen the hole on the right side to match the size of the boot.Time for an update. We have been trying to make a batch of the more narrow passenger side boot for 2 weeks. The print quality on our parts drastically dropped and we could not figure out what happened. They were not to our quality standard to ship to customers. After a ton of digging we finally figured it out. One of our new guys hired for the holiday season decided to "clean" our SLA machine like he was trained to clean our FDM assembly line machines. Unfortunately it's totally different technology and in the process of cleaning he scuffed up the lense/printing plate with an abrasive cleaner which created light deformation which resulted in poor print quality. The replacement parts just arrived and we will get the machine fixed today. We will get this batch into production by tomorrow. Very sorry for the delay. Seasonal employees are really a love/hate relationship. We can't survive without out them but they are STUPID at the same time.

I let two different friends borrow my soft top 74 for a week each. They both noticed the rubber grommets and how cool they were. Neither one said anything about the slightly pinched passenger side. I just got my truck back today and will see if I can finagle the pinchy side into place.

I got a small batch of the updated passenger side inserts done. I just put them up on our seller platforms so they can be sold separately and not as a pair. The pair option is still there if you need both but now you can select the driver or passenger side if you need a single part/replacement. I will get a larger batch made next week so if these sell out then be patient and we will restock around Wednesday with a larger batch.
