I will be ordering when ebay updates their inventory,
But Is there a way for the bh3d site to ship to canada?
We do international shipping through ebay and etsy but not our website. Too much customs paperwork for us on our website. Etsy and ebay take care of all of that for us. I also just restocked ebay with a few more pairs that were made this morning.

Purchased
thanks for the effort

So I shipped out the first large batch on Monday and the rest shipped out yesterday. I want to give some info on install since the first batch will be getting delivered over the next few days. Install is simple; just slide it over the end of the blinker/wiper shaft and push it into the hole until fully seated. Takes like 10 seconds. The concern I have is more with removal. I don't know why you would need to remove it BUT if for some reason you do then listen up. We 3D printed a mock OEM column hole for test install and removal. Install was always easy but removal was problematic at first. The outer lip of this rubber boot is thin like the OEM one. If you simply grab the outer lip and try to simply pull/pry it out of the hole, you risk tearing the lip of the boot. The best option is to pinch the boot to get it to come off the outer lip/unseat it and then pull it back through the hole gently and don't pull from the lip. Try to squeeze the boot and then slide a finger or butter knife back behind and pry from behind. When the boot is seated onto the steering column it is a very tight fit. It will NOT want to simply pull out if it's still seated. Squeeze and rotate the boot a bit until fully unseated. I hope that makes sense. For most of you removal will never be needed so this is a pointless post but for a few, I wanted to make sure you understood how to do it. If you yank the OEM rubber boot by it's outer lip it is prone to tearing as well.

Or, loosen the column cover screws and split the clamshell. I'd do that instead.

@bhicks

WOW! Talk about quick shipping. Install was a 10/10 for simplicity. Your magical 3D printed material feels great.

The driver side fit perfectly and looks great. Passenger side seemed a little big and caused a fold/pinch. Down the road I may trim my clam shell to allow the grommet to fit flush.

That is weird. Are the two holes a different size? I used the OEM insert to pull dimensions from and pulled dimensions from the passenger side hole on the column. I assumed both sides were the same. The pics I had looked identical.

I can take a quick measurement to find out. I'll report back in a bit

RHD and LHD covers are mirror images on the holes. The hole on the turn signal side is ~1 inch wide. The one on the wiper side is ~7/8 inch wide. Both sides are ~1 1/2 inches tall.

It would be easy to open up the narrow side with a file. I'd remove the covers to do it off the truck. Easier to test-fit as well.

When I first looked at the openings I thought they were identical.

Same issue on mine. RH side perfect. LH bunching up. Here's some measurements for you.

1992 HZJ77 RHD
Brand new clamshell: 45286-60927-13

RH side (towards door, driver side): 27mm x 40.5mm

Going to order another pair as I mangled mine taking measurements. Let me know if you change the design on the passenger side, and I will wait to order. If not, I'll take @cruiserdan's advice and get the file out. That would only take 30min start to finish.

I'm also happy to send you a new clamshell for testing. They are only $67 for the pair.

Thank you again for making these. They are so awesome. Even with the bunching up, still 100% better than before. $36 is underpriced.

It's probably easier to open up the hole than re-do the seal.

There may be some ribbing on the back side of some covers that affects fitment.

I snatched up the last two pairs currently available on the website. Thank you for doing this. Thank you isn’t enough.
