How did you protect the other side of these two items?

Item on right was disassembled, and only the outer shroud was plated. It'll be reassembled before going back on the air filter.

Left was carefully blasted. Diaphragm on the inside is still good after plating.

Got my pedal assemblies done.

Sexy! One for me, and one to be sold on eBay.

Linkage is in! It's hot as fawk in my carport; I don't foresee doing too much work while it's like this. :(

Finally got my heater tube (the correct one) from CruiserParts. Fits (just barely) behind the DUI Distributor.

Air filter restoration. All powdercoated and cadmium plated. Unfortunately, this is not the correct filter housing for my 1978. I knew this going into it but figured that while I was getting things powder coated and plated I could get this done too, and sell it to recoup some of the cost of my project. It's beautiful. Hopefully someone can put it to good use. I'll probably sell it on ebay with the rest of the restored parts I don't actually need.

That being said, can someone pinpoint what year this filter went on? I'm thinking it is a 60 Series 2F, but not exactly sure.

New compression fittings and olives from Toyota.

Finally got around to making the new hard fuel line to the carburetor. Turned out pretty good!

Also installed the purge line for the charcoal canister.

I've already got one. Thanks !

Y'all help me. I can't remember where this part goes. I could have sworn it went inside of the air cleaner assembly, but I can't for the life of me find any holes to line up with those captured nuts.

Installed the vacuum hose to the brake booster and also got around to installing the main harness firewall grommet (which I forgot to do when installing the harness the first time).

Ordered this 1/2" foam tubing from McMaster Carr. Exact fit, and exactly like the original cover on the rear heater tubes. Getting those on was a bitch! I haven't used my forearms that hard since I was about 14 years old.

Put some Palmolive in the tubes, then get the copper pipes wet with water.
