Hello everyone, nothing technical about this thread, just thought you guys are pretty easy going that you wouldn't mind. I've been keeping a close eye on mattc82's t-shirt thread, but it seemed to unravel. If I could interest anyone here with some sort of unique FJ25 t-shirt design please let me know. I've got a brother-in-law in the t-shirt business who could get some shirts printed up at cost. If anyone is interested post up some designs, I will front the cost to get them done (I'm guessing the #'s won't be too many given the FJ25 population) and then collect orders and payments at 0 percent profit;). I would just like a couple of shirts and thought I'd see if anyone else was interested.

How about a "skinny wheel", or is it "skinny tire" shirt for the early 25 and 40 stockers...........just a thought. Honestly, I'm buried in t-shirts, but I wouldn't be able to resist.

How about something like a classic embroidered golf shirt?

I can get those done if you’d like, but aren’t there licensing issue’s with regards to using Toyota/Land Cruiser logos and stuff?

I 'd like the TOYOTA tailgate emblem on the front :D "We dont need no stinkin bezel" on the back? or we dont need no stinlin lo range, or we dont need no stinkin' offset rear diff? you get the idea. Im in for a few. OD green shirt? Although id like a grey to match mine.

I've got a shirt idea lines up but would like some input before I proceed.

We have to stay away from certain trademark words such as "Toyota" so the rear emblem is out (unless someone else has a printer who doesn't care).

I thought on the front left (pocket location and size) there could be FJ-25 "bezeless" or FJ-25 "skinney wheel"
with a front/side shot of a FJ25 belonging to someone from MUD.

On the back would be a rear shot of the same FJ25, displaying the centered diff. and print above and below reading "checkpoint no.6 Mount Fuji where it all started"

If you want to see what the graphics will look like, This is Garie site who will hopefully be printing them for me/us.

a t bird on the front and something else 25 on the back would be sweet in that frame colored green

ok, so 4 years later this is what I've come up with

the shirts will be "Bella Canvas", if anyone has ordered one of Shane's Maintenance Procedures shirt(s) you know the quality, very soft too.

front pocket will yield the graphics from an early parts bag. the shape even resembles an old school pocket lapel, I think it will be perfect.

I should have a much better scan of both FJ25 books shortly, but just so you get an idea of the images....................................,

the graphics in the following post will be used on the backs of the shirts. all the graphics both front and rear will be distressed. once the final images are completed, I will post up some more images of what the final products will look like on the shirts.

thanks everyone, let me know what you think

I'll also be getting a better scan of the '63 with the blue/grey wheel

I'm a little partial to the '63 FJ25 book..........but that predistressed one may be a bit much if you distress it. ;) I can send you a cleaner scan.

Okay that just isn't fair...... how did you get so many parts books?? I'd kill for the 63-64 45V books :grinpimp:

T-shirts are going to be awesome just let me know where to send some money  !!!

I agree I like the 63 parts book since it has a FJ25 on the cover.

I have a better copy than that one. Maybe not a clean as Jim's copy. The FJ45P-B I have a like new copy. Could scan that one also. I would really like a copy of the 61 parts book but would settle for a comparison of the brake parts of the 61 and 62. Since trying to figure if the drums that came with one of my 61s were off a 61. They are Toyota.

It also looks like I will be heading south Sunday.

I'm down for an XL and L with logo across chest and no pocket if that's an option.

Shane

I made to Tucson yesterday (Sunday) and tried giving you a call. Had 25 drums and bumper for you to use as pattern. Now that I picked up the 3FE not sure when I'll be down again.:meh:

Thanks John but I was hoping to hear from you before 2:30, at least just to give a heads up on an ETA.

Between my daughters, wife and in laws I'm usually being pulled in every direction on the weekends. By 2:30 I was knee deep.
