Well got the new shoes on Mary Ellyn's 80........ looks like this is the point of no return :grinpimp: I really like the look of these Q78 Swampers they turned out not to be as skinny as I had imagined, we'll see how they do on the trails soon enough.

will be adding 1" spacers, OME L shocks, OME CC, bump stop extensions, and removing the running boards this weekend.......

have been driving it around as is and the ride is just fine to me, not wild or unpredictable at all so that is good we will see what happens after the additional lift and CCs this weekend

NO turning back? you mean no turning right? :D

those looks sick JP (M-E too) cant wait to see em up close next weekend. No problems turning and stuffing so far? spacer should do you well. Wait are you on suspension phase II already???

Save yourself time and money and get the 4" slee or frankie's kit...trust me. I went through 4-5 revisions of suspension...

Looks good JP, just wait till you add some custom pinstripes.. when ya going to stop calling it Marry Ellyns?

I thought I had lost my mind taking the 80 out on the trail. You sir have just kinged me.

JP found his jar and Marshalls still looking.

def. in my plans before my trip next summer....... this will have to do for now; the Q78's where an unplanned step up from the 34" LTBs and this was the quickest and cheapest solution for now. I don't have time or money to do things proper at the moment :bang:

I just hope M-E doesn't break my crown....when we get that first little ding or pen stripe:o

You are insane.

funny mary ellyn said the same thing........... I think the 80 finally has the attitude of a real Land Cruiser :grinpimp:

I do believe this weekend will be the most nervous I have ever been behind the wheel though..... really wish I could have gotten some sliders in time. If I do crush the rockers or quaters I will be looking for a new place to live :crybaby:

Just drive it like you got some since(try and imagine) and you should be ok up there. I wouldn't be too worried about it your rocker panels.

no doubt it is very easy going up there and I know the terrian and trails better than just about anyone......... but crazier things have happened :o
