Your setup right now will take you just about anywhere you want to go for exploring/expedition. I've got the same setup you have, 33s, 4.10s and a 3" OME and it's perfect. No need to regear or go SOA. Keep it simple.

Also, what weight did you go? I am thinking I'm going to go heavy just because I don't want them to sag.

Mine is medium front and heavy rear. I have a full rear drawer setup in the back and a rear bumper/tire carrier and the heavy OME is perfect.

I need to add sliders as well, that's a good one to put on the list.

Well yesterday I decided I wanted to replace the thermostat. Ever since I stored my cruiser every time I drive it it will get warm. I figured I would start with the cheapest option which is the thermostat. While in there I discover the PO must have never used coolant, and really never used distilled water.

And unfortunately that wasn't the resolution. Yes I burped the system after i was done and I topped off the coolant. This was after running for about 5 minutes or so. When I drive the temp gauge goes right down almost instantly. The fan moves a ton of air so I don't think that is the issue, what else could it be? I got the radiator flushed about a year ago when I first got it.

If the temp goes down when moving, so you only overheat when idling or in stop and go traffic, your issue is the fan clutch.

Also what are your guys thoughts in regard to that picture of my gauge. Is my oil pressure a little on the low side? I'm running 15w40

That is about where mine sits. As long as i have pressure im a happy guy.

Took the cruiser out today and did what it was built for. Also realized I desperately need new TREs. Which ones do you guys recommend?

Are the Japanese 555 ones from Kurt good?

Perhaps a little biased but I think they are great. We have customers driving around the globe on 555 Japan built joints, you can't beat that. :D

Hey quick question for you guys, is my alternator supposed to fluctuate when I have my headlights on, heater, and my blinker? It's fine when moving but when stopped the lights flicker and my voltage gauge goes way down. I've never noticed this before. I'm about to go test the output in a few minutes.

Definitely got with the 555 TREs... Just did mine this weekend after having a trail break where the TRE connection to the steering arm/pitman arm dropped out of the socket on the trail. Even with me farting around repainting the draglinks and soaking the clamps and bolts in cleaner for an hour it still only took me 4hrs.

Word of advice, count the number of threads you see sticking out and ensure that you have your new ones turned in that much. Use large visegrips as needed (I needed) and get everything setup.

As for the voltage, mine fluctuates some when I have everything going. If you mean you can visibly see it fluctuating, then no but mine will drop to the 1/2 way mark one minute and then after the next restart it will be close to the 3/4 mark.

Yeah definitely going to get the TREs soon. But this alternator issue is actually making my engine stutter if say I am going through the drive through for example. Really bummed about this because OE replacements are not cheap. And the list goes on and on of other things I have to get before I can start my mods. I want a good baseline

Here is it with lights on, heater on full, and in gear. When I put the cruiser in park it goes back up, I am not comfortable checking with a tester while in drive. But in park it floats right at the line. And it shows on my meter 13.26 volts.

Mine does the same thing. I wonder if its just an old alternator slowly dying. Watching...
