Got a bunch of stuff in the mail including the elusive early wing window seals from Cruiser Outfitters (thanks Kurt).

Finished the frp lid off with self levelling seam sealer around the drip edge and some liner i tinted white then got to cleaning up and painting a bunch of the smaller parts. Rebuilt/painted? (The bodies and mounts were crusty af) the hatch struts then i got all creative with a couple inside hatch panels. The blue one is just a wall hanger, the stripey one still needs work but its going in the van eventually.

The difference between the front and rear is dramatic. The coils just soak everything up really nicely and are plush while the rear feels like a cart from the 1700s. I too was planning on soa but a buddy parted out a rig so i inherited the coils and radius arms.. Dont get me wrong, my 60 is soa f/r and its also plush, just reuse your stock packs and it should ride nice.

All i was told is that they're jeep zj 4" lift coils. They do ride surprisingly well i have to say.

Need some shaggy carpet, a comb over hair-do, a big gold chain necklace, polyester suit, and register as a sex offender if your going to fully committed to a 70s van look.

Ok, just the slightest little 70s van touch, im not going all out here....

Got some stuff powder coated, other stuff fluid filmed thoroughly inside and out, combined some of the stuff after putting on seals and stacked it on the van, redid the hatch struts due to complaints from the critics, made a bunch of little hard top seals.... It's loosely bolted on for now but everything still lines up so far so that good i guess. Also got all 5 window seals cleaned up. There was a ton of rust and paint flakes in the pinch weld channels with overspray and tobbaco on the rest of all of them but a putty knife, sos pad, a good rag soaked in silicone lube and raw hands at the end got em nice and clean. Waiting on door and hatch locks since mine were keyless and the drivers door lock was just slightly corroded.

Too late in the season now im afraid, maybe next year?

Couple things got crossed off the list. We popped the glass back into the hard top sides and hatch, got the full doors broken down, patched, blasted and test fit, the wing windows were rehabbed and got new hardware.. wing window clasps, door handles and inside hatch handle got the powder coat treatment. Stripey tail gate lid got put on. The Front Range keyed steering arms came in and my spare set of knuckles got machined the other day by a buddy, gm won ton y link kit is in order form tmr. .

Have to epoxy prime and paint the hard doors then i can start thinking about the steering.

Low placement is due to the frame being in the way lol. These are front range lowboy arms that keep the tie rod in roughly the same place as stock arms. Had some highsteer arms a while back that i tried on for s***s and i would have has 2" up travel between the tie rod and frame.

Got a bunch of stuff crossed off the list and managed to get it outside under its own power for the first time this year. Doors are done, frp top is bolted on and the fror lowboy keyed arms/25mm trunnion pins/tmr 1 ton steering are all together.
