Thanks Guys!!!!
So, the sealant is just there to hold it in place until it is installed. That's good to know! I remember when I did the valves on the 62 and replaced the Valve Cover Gasket, my mechanic friend had me lay the red RTV to it.
JP, I have a set wheels and nearly new tires from the resto that I need gone before the homeowners association breaks bad on me. Don't know if you need some for one of your projects, but they are yours if you want them (read here free). They are 15 inch universal wheels with P215/75 R15 Dayton A/T tires (looks like they've been used less than 1000 miles).
Marshall, I think I still have some scavenged 80s parts under the house, like a rear bumper, if you need one for your business. Also have a FJC Brush Bar.
Also, I'm looking at buying a set of the moon "T" hubcaps from SOR for 60s 45s, which look like they will fit a 60s Stout. JP, do you know of a better source as they are @ $70 a piece from SOR. I think that is a reasonable price as repo-ing these things can't be cheap, especially for the few vehicles they were meant for. (Let me mention here that Kay Specter has now called me twice about one order (tail light gaskets). Talk about good customer service!)
Have packages coming from Cabe Toyota in California (starter, OEM rubber, etc.), SOR (mudflaps, side view mirrors (great deal BTW) and various small pieces), an Ebay dealer in Australia (original NOS fusebox), and a Stout specialty dealer in NC (Stickers, replacement engine parts) all on the way. Early Christmas!
Here is a picture of the Hubcaps I'll probably end up buying from SOR: (Source: SOR.Com)
