This is awesome! Thanks for the link. I have an idea for what I want to do. I'll say in advance, I know full well I could more easily power up with a chevy V8 swap. I'm interested in an all Toyota powerplant. There’s a long thread in the 80s section by @Skitz swapping out a 3FE in a FJ80 to that engine. It’s not a project for the faint of heart. The wiring harness is beyond insanity.
91 3FE to 2UZ Swap
After witnessing @Zjohnsonua build his 60 (Camo 2uz Swap), it kicked me into gear to do this swap... Going to try and keep it short and to the point.... This is my 2UZ swap... I've been on the 3fe bandwagon since 2004, I paid my dues to the 3fe gods for 17 years... :bang: Its time to do my 80...forum.ih8mud.com
Considering how my 3.5 twin turbo eco boost in my f150 hauls ass, I would hope the Toyota one would too. Seems like a great option if one has the $$$ and time
Now that is making full use of engine bay space!
Every time I work on it it annoys me...but not about to pull the speed parts off...Now that is making full use of engine bay space!
They do....its just that the crate they come in also has a full wiring harness, driveline, body, interior etcDoes Toyota even sell crate engines like Ford or GM?
do you have any more info on the m90 supercharger? are you running a multi rib belt? What's wrong with the 3F-E?
It's an M90 off an L67 Buick engine and yep, multi ribbed belt. I'm away from home at the moment but can get some more photos when I'm home if there's anything you'd like.do you have any more info on the m90 supercharger? are you running a multi rib belt?
