Is anyone putting a lock on the wheel they have on their tire carrier? I know locks are a no no on wheels on the axles but how about the bumper mounted spare?

FYI, if you get the Wavian cans do NOT use the Carb compliant nozzle they come with. Get the flexible hose version. The Carb compliant nozzle won't fit into the fuel flap of our Cruisers. Found out the hard way this past weekend when I realized that the nozzle wouldn't fit and would simply compress and dump fuel all over the outside of the rig. Annoying that Wavian sends a nozzle that won't fit. Other than that, I like the can.
I used this to transfer fuel from my jerry can to car fuel tank. No need to move jerry can arround.

I use 3 wheel locks on the spare tire mount. I also use them on my wheels (cruiser came with them).

Yeah, why would locks be a no-no? They come installed on LX wheels...

The key-way of the keyed lug socket can break. Not a huge deal if it happens at your dealer while they’re rotating the tires...they can order a new one.
It IS a big deal if you’re out and about, or off road.
I‘ve replaced all mine with standard OEM lugnuts.

Had several wheel locks break. Never again.

The wheel locks are a bit of false security. Pound on a socket over the lug and off they come.

Can the tire carrier be on the right side, or can you have dual tire carriers? Every picture I see has a single one on the left.

Yes. Ben gives you the option of which side and I believe you can run dual tire swing outs

I emailed Ben, but figured I'd post here as well.

Anyone running the large vertical accessory panel on their rear bumper as one of the swingouts? Curious how its best utilized and how it compares to the jerry can holder, etc.

I know mostly the 200 users have the large accessory panel. I’ve seen it used for maxtrax, camp kitchen, attachment points for other accessories. It’s interesting but not for me.

Same, mostly seen it on 200s.

Anyone here have one?

This guy is running the large kit on a 100. I’m sure he’d answer questions.
He posts in the forum too. Great build thread:

Thanks guys - I ended up doing the large vertical accessory rack. Its really versatile because you can drill a hole in it and mount pretty much anything you want. The only downside being it holds slightly less fluid than the jerry can holder, but overall I thought it was better.

Also its modular, lol - so if I want the Jerry Can holder in the future, I'll just order one from Ben. :D

If this info has been given already, I apologize. I have read this thread a couple of times, just never in one sitting, so I may have missed it. Does anyone have any pics or measurements of increase in clearance/departure angle? I am currently stock with the below bumper receiver, and I think I would see a decent gain.
