I know its popular to stay OE.. or even Denso, but I decided to run a Morimoto all Aluminum radiator, and its been perfect for last few yrs. Lifetime warranty too. Nearly perfect fit.
New brakes day for the front of the truck. I realized when I did my CV's that my front brakes were getting low and then after looking closer I realized I had a dragging caliper and the inner pad on the driver side was almost completely gone...
Time to pull the third. It is pretty heavy so I was trying to figure out how to do this without damaging anything, dropping it on the garage floor or crushing myself. I came up with this rudimentary jack support. There were a couple issues but it...

I got as far as covering my fuel lines (feed +return) in the DEI reflective sleeves... which helped a little. Also attached a larger insulated shield to the Catalytic shield, to block more heat away from the fuel lines. The all seemed...
Fuel pump creating heat, E85, hot days, high altitude, belly pans trapping heat, engine running hot, A/T running hot, EVAP system not functioning as it should, etc. all contribute to fuel boiling.
But I cann't say this enough. Fresh off the...
Couple quick garage pics.
Factory spare tire crossmember, not yet raised. These 11.50’s spec at 11.4” wide while the 285/70 KO2’s I had on previously spec at 11.5” wide. I did measure them both and the 11.5’s are indeed narrower but the...
Yep, totally subjective. I recently put 35's on and I regeared last week. My engine and trans are once again in their happy place. It drives just like stock but with big squishy tires under it.
Testament to Lexus reliability! I did the same on our last Subaru. Never more than 5k between M1 0W20 changes. It didn't matter, it still started burning a quart between changes by 110k. Poor design. My 2UZ at 176k and 17 years dosen't burn a drop.
Been using Full synth since our LX470 drove off the showroom floor new. Oil Changed every 5k miles w/ OE toyota filter. Im at 280k now, and engine still runs like new, and doesnt burn/lose any oil. Will continue this regiment.

Hey y'all,
Figured I'd share this. Had some trouble mounting my hi lift to my Dissent Rear Bumper hi lift mount, seemed like no matter how I angled the spare tire mount the jack would run into my tire. Probably the offset of the OEM rim and...
If looking for a steering shaft extension, this is another option... Got it from another thread around here.
Seems like nearly 1/2 the price as the Aussie one, and it's in the US (San Diego)...
Thanks... Yea I'll just try to support the axle so they dont sit on the seals. I have no issues w/ seals or bearings at the moment, and hoping to leave them alone this time.
Pressing new seal rings on is a bear of a job, might as well do the bearing while doing that job. I wouldn't recommend tackling that unless you're leaking or suspect you have a bad bearing.
Here is how the truck sits now ... pretty level. Bumpers don't have a gap ... looks good. The body is not raked forward even though the suspension and frame are slightly to keep the stability.
One other thing that I think is worth mentioning ... the shift linkage. The transmission linkage will need to be loosened up and then retightened or you will have some issues when you put it in park and try and take the key out of the ignition...
Hey guys... been searching but couldnt find specific answer to this... would like some input from those who have experience.
Im planning to pull my 3rd member soon, ('04 LX, 280k miles) and I know the easy was is to pull the axles out about...
Yea, the Noco jump packs work great. Good idea to on keeping it topped off all the time, ready to go.
No more turning cars around so the jumper cables can reach. ;)
