I wanna see this thing too. Looks real good.

Shane did you delete the rear heater? Just looking at the heater hose routing on the PS of the block.

Also, that battery. Is it a Marine type? I see the extra little terminals. (I think that means it is Marine.) I'm tired of my retarded undersized battery. I should have just gotten a group 27 like it calls for

Thanks and much appreciated - getting there, slowly, 5 projects at a time, hehe.

Yes, rear heater deleted - I pulled the unit and the hoses/lines; my friend Darren capped at the firewall/block. Do you need any close-up pics?

Yes, it's a Marine type battery - now have to order the correct hold down.

More tomorrow. . .

Shane

Thinking of deleting my rear heater when I eventually do a swap. How hard was it? Have those who have done noticed any difference in heat output?

It was easy - initially, all I did was pull the unit & cap the lines. My friend Darren removed the hard lines & capped at the block/firewall.

Wow!
Shane I know you have plans to change color on that rig and I respect that.
But just the way that truck sits now with black wheels and bumpers etc it looks amazing.
Nice looking rig!

Jorge - thanks and I'm with ya. It's a really, really difficult call to make. My wife, friends & many others vote for the silver. And damn - that sliver with black accents, bam!

Shane

You know you can keep the ARB rear locker for the 80 axle right?

Yes - but I'm thinking an entire new build; the shipping back & forth, disassembly, etc makes thus a much more attractive option for me.

I googled "ADHD", "over-the-top", "out-of-control" and the first 305037 hits were either a pic of Shane or a reference back to this thread [emoji38].
Lol...I saw that too[emoji3]

@Godwin @87CRUSR

You guys are friggin hilarious - making fun of my disability and. . .can't wait to get my grille mounted. . .those axles are going to be awesome. Wait, what were we initially discussing?

You were mentioning somewhere about a rear end rebuild kit at a killer price!
