name that quote: "People keep asking me if I'm back and I haven't really had an answer, but yeah, I'm thinking I'm back".

Aside from solving the problems of the fkd-up ACA FUBAR Obama created, working on the following:

1. Door panels.

3. Dash - this is a big one; second only to the motor swap. I'm going to run a FJ62 top, custom lower & custom console. I had initially started collecting NOS parts for the dash build but decided to go a different route:

Restomod Air for custom HVAC: Custom Aftermarket A/C Systems & Pro Touring A/C Parts: Hot Rod...

5 PC. GAUGE KIT, 3-3/8" & 2-1/16", ELEC. SPEEDO W/WHEEL ODO, PRESTIGE BLK. DIAMOND

I'm rewiring the entire truck - needed, probably not. Doing it regardless, yes.

4. Headlight doors to match the grill - heading to talk to a few more shops tomorrow. Fingers crossed. . .

Getting ready to post a part that I've been saving for the dash mod - but won't need b/c of the aftermarket piece I'm incorporating. Stay tuned!

Cool, will be interested in at least the headlight doors.

Those 62 upper to 60 lower mount brackets. If you are selling those, I want first crack at them since I lost/misplaced the pattern for them.

Going to call you. . .

What is different about the non-US spec steering wheel? Just curious.

Holy shat. . .it's happening!

Meeting with two fab shops - one this Saturday, one the following Saturday (tentative - may have to bring Scooby for his check-up in Starkville, MS).

This Saturday - official work on door cards and center console.

Which means. . .Tuffy console is going bye-bye.

Fcuking finally. . .so fcuking excited. . .hard like wood!

spent the better part of the day working on the door panels. Going to do the final wood cut next weekend and then make the metal panel. Ordering the Lokar parts today, might go power windows as a way to open the area for a larger armrest & other design elements. Here's a picture of the first cut:

But the overall design will be a mixture of the following:

@beno - are the 62 power window components still available?

Next stop, Monday, appointments with 3 fabrication shops to see if I can get someone to make the headlight doors to match the grill.
