Need advice - Depo lights and early (TOYOTA) grille (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I got the depo lights that are the exact same ones others have used with the early grill. The part where the grill screws to the light on the sides isn't fitting. Wondering if those of you that got it to fit had to do any trimming of the light or the grill? If so, would you please share what you did, so I can avoid destroying parts?

I trimmed the grille. It is old and crusty and the lights are new. Seemed like the lesser of two evils.

Looking at the same ones. You happy with them?

I am happy with them. They are nowhere as well made as factory lights, but the price is lower and they are more readily available. I had to widen a couple of the top chrome trim mounting holes by a few millimeters on one of them to eliminate interference with the grille, but that was no big deal. For my use (majority offroad), they are good.
