my old friend Claude , (previous owner of my 42) just pass away yesterday at 74 yrs old , he was like a second father for me , i knew him since early 90 because of the land cruiser , i was 16 yrs old and just got my driver licence , i dreamed of LC since i was a little boy , and saw this one in a driveway near where i live and everytime i saw it , i start to dream of owning one, so one day i stop and put a note with my name and phone under the wiper arm ,then we met and i ask him alots of question about LC , i finally bought one in 92 and we saw each other from time to time , he was always around the world for work or adventure , he told me he never work as a CL-215 pilot, it was play time for him , california , galapagos , germany, and in winter time it was sail boating or camping in mexico .

i'd swap those wheels for steelies with hubcaps but shipping and border fee is deal breaker , so it is not a priority for now .
I have the stock 84 wagon wheels that need some cleaning and paint ,i will probably use them but i prefer the steelies style

Condolences on the loss of your friend. Great job on the cruiser.

i got the front doors weaterstrip from cruiser corps , last november sale , at 70$usd for the pair, it end up at 200$can after shipping and border fee and taxes , everybody say to go with oem but at 220$usd for a pair it mean more than 500$can  .
i'm happy they fit good , the door is hard to close, but after striker ajustement it help and time will help too
