:cheers:mmm worth the wait.. sounds pretty damn sweet... just make sure you don't suffocate in that garage....

..and i love how 60% of that film is the camra pointed at the ground :)

haha yea for sure....I was too excited to worry about where the camera was pointed!

But anyhow....back to the garage...today all the body panels (i.e. from the cowl forward) can go on...hood and all...that way when we DRIVE it down to paint next week itll look something like a cruiser.

Eli, Thats awesome, sounds great too.

Been meaning to ask, are you sticking with the stock roll bar? I saw you had put it in but was wondering if you were going to put in a cage when you get more funds.

Great job man.. !! I've been following this and the video is a great topper....

Whats that? Thats a LAND CRUISER!!! Hell yes...

I would LOVE for my doors to be a part of your excellent cruiser... :)

ok so an update:

We got the timing corrected with the motor, so now it fires up instantly...one annoying problem (see thread titled "eek problems") but eventually ill figure it out.

We cut the tub back about 2" but it needs another inch atleast ...just barely enough to bolt the front of the tub back down (dont worry Aaron I took pictures) we also put the windshield on. So we procrastinated about the brakes and looked at a bunch of diagrams....(I think the fumes were really way to strong...because by the end of our 4 hour garage sesh. the smell of gas and exhaust was making us all giggily.

Anyway, still hopeing for a mid week test drive.

Hopefully my william dory MT PS bracket will show up tmrow so I can do that install, and then Ill also hunt down a throttle cable that fits, get some vacume line to run to the kickdown for the transmission, figure out my starter button problems, and then take a nap.

Then all thats left is tightening down everything, running the brake lines, and takeing it for a cruise. seems like a good 2 days worth of work.
