Pat it appears to be reacting to the lube itself.
That's not good. I never paid attention to what grease I was using. I JUST put in (and greased) new bushings in Jessicas HZJ-73. Doh! my 61 and 55 have them too. Not really wanting to pull the bushings to clean them and swap in moly grease, but may have to.

I use this on poly bushings now after having this issue on multiple trucks.

What's cooking? 69 page thread, help me out :D
I think someone tagged you looking for some insight on OME spring bushing grease. What grease should be used with these bushings?

I installed a new rear drive shaft today. I believe the old shaft was made incorrectly and was causing a vibration.

I had one of their drive shafts made…those guys were super helpful, and very quick to turn around and ship…AND, everything went back together perfectly

Regrettably I did not know about Tom Woods when I had the old shaft made. Initially I was displeased with that shaft and started looking outside of my geographical location for other options. They did make my front shaft.

PSA: check your body mounts.

I used Energy Suspension products body mount kit when I built this truck. When I was installing the new drive shaft a few weeks ago I noticed the passenger side rear cab mount had rotated from the original installation position. So I checked the bolt and it was loose. No biggie. Then I checked the rest of the cab mounts, they were all loose. Except for the passenger side front mount, that bolt was missing 😔. Even the step mounts were loose. I removed and reinstalled all of the front bolts with Red Thread lock. I only have 13k miles on the truck🤷🏻‍♂️ Don’t misunderstand, I’m not complaining about the Energy product, I think it’s typical of all urethane products. This is the first time I have used this type of body mount, so it was new to me that you needed to check them after installing and using for a while.
