I agree!Pat you really need to go soon.
it seems from everything I have seen and read…especially the way @cruiserdan can spew out details about parts, trucks, years ..what is correct etc etc…. He ain’t gonna be able to leave for a while …of course when you're at the top of the list, no one really ever replaces youGo before Dan heads out. Wife, kids and I stopped by one time delivering cruiser parts several years ago. I don’t think they were open but he accommodated us as we walked around and drooled.
The cruisers are awesome but Dan competed the deal.
If I understood Jules correctly, they are actively searching for Dans replacementGo before Dan heads out. Wife, kids and I stopped by one time delivering cruiser parts several years ago. I don’t think they were open but he accommodated us as we walked around and drooled.

Merry Christmas all of my Mud brothers and sisters

What grease were you using? This is definitely a problem- the OME bushings that were in my truck when I bought it were pretty wrecked and they were only about 4 years old. They were not bad as yours, but they definitely were hammered and useless. When I replaced them in 2020 I used Stabil Molygraph grease to lube them, and continue to do so. At this time they still appear to be holding up, but...Gentleman, a cautionary tale if you will. When installing OME spring bushings, read and head their installation instructions. It is stated, that you should use a molybdenum grease. There are, apparently, no other substitutes. Please see the pictures. This happened in 12k miles.
These are what is left of the front spring, rear mount bushings.

My truck lubed for 4-5 years. Moved it around a couple of times. Parked it, looked down and see yellow crumbles. Like a mice ate it, NOT. Its was disintegrating inside out.Wow. Didn't expect that. Is the bushing reacting to the grease and falling apart? Or is it just not getting lubed properly without the moly grease? I best be checking my bushings!
