LOOKS FABULOUS!!! However - looks like you could NOT put anymore of a lift on it AND get it in the garage!!:D

what is your no BS thoughts on the mat? does it move around?

It's a nice and HEAVY mat. There is roughly an 1/8" of space on each side and it goes all the way up to the seats. I trimmed some to fit around gas tank cover and fuel neck cover. Also trimmed a slot for the barn door latch. I haven't driven off road with it yet, but it's o heavy, I can't imagine it will move around much. I'm happy with it.

Thanks Sarca! It actually clears by about 1/16" and actually just barely scraped when I replaced the shackles. So 33" tires and the current lift are as far as it will go!

Steve might have more to say, but having seen it in person it's now on my wish list. It fits well, is heavy enough, and is grippy enough that I don't think it'll be moving around much at all. I really want it to help with sound absorption. It looks great in the back of his cruiser!

4 wheel disk brakes done! Fronts from birfield out from 78 40, rear are Monte Carlo calipers and posers brackets. Stock 74 master cylinder for now. Good solid pedal, brakes are a little slow to stop, but need to break in some. All new rotors and pads. Also switched from warns to Aisin hubs.

Looking good man! Love a 74. Had one for years. I assume you put mini truck p/s right? Did you install a p/s cooler? Do your pump a favor if you didn't. A cheap tranny cooler will work fine and it's not hard to do. Bring that thing to GSMTR in a few weeks!

You have done great work, it is inspiring to see you continuously knock this stuff out!

Thanks Charity! I wish I did all the work myself, but I'm not that great a mechanic and with a 9 month old, not much time. I have a great mechanic in the area who did the swap for me. BTW, I found the other birfield if you need it. Didn't realize I left one out when I gave you the parts at the show!

PS is mini truck. No cooler yet, but that may be a future mod!

Wow!! Excellent work! I am going to be going with a similar coloring on mine. Wowzzers, your close to the top of your garage door! Why didnt you put your CB radio in where the old radio went/were the Delete plate is now? Who wants to reach allllllllllllllll the way over there to use the CB ;-)

Nice work!
