I pre-ran the back way up to Mount Ord today and it would make a great June club run but we will need a chain saw. The problem is the trail is overgrown by Pine tree limbs and others making the road impassable IMO. With 2' grass in the center of the road makes me think the roads has seen little traffic.
Post up if you have a chain saw, know how to use it, and are willing to do some trail trimming to make this run possible.

FWIW when asked I did not consider it stocker friendly.
With that said Mt Ord would not be stocker friendly IMO. Not to say a good driver could not get a near stock 80 throught without a lot of issue but most good drivers dont have stock trucks. But if you are 'all that' I welcome the entertainment. The trail would be great for someone with a locked 80, some lift, and off road tires. Mt Ord would not be good for a spouce with little off road experience. The trail is mostly a shelf road, some off camber , and narrow is spots but I would not consider it unsafe. Loose sharp rocks make good tires a must. The washouts althought not large will test articulation making lockers helpful. You will have the choice in spots using line selection to make it as exciting as want. Some off camber stuff but only one place with a mandoatory line that would have some real pucker factor (on the drivers side
)but dont be stupid and locked and all will be good.
