I have got mine from strait from remflex. And like darren said look at the package for the tq specs not the manual.

Don't know man, make me an offer. Heck ya already got the rims.

How much tread do they have? Dryrotted real bad?

That's what I did. I'll make sure to follow the torque specs. I've used a remflex once before and now I regret not going with them right off the bat this time.

On a better note, got a McMaster order in today. Hardware for the new drawer and fridge setup.

Still got atleast half their tread still and do not remember be too bad for dryrot. Will look today. Been inside since the accident.

Got my cargo box mounted, drawers fitted and started building the forward section. I welded a couple of tie downs to the rear bed for the toggle clamps. Was thinking about using bolts, but it turns out that there is a body rib on the driver side that isn't on the passenger side so it wasn't going to be clean enough. I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Uses the rear seat belt bolts

This lip will not exist in the final config.

Johnny, those ammo boxes are a GREAT idea! I've been trying to figure out a way to make a removable support for the front of a sleeping platform. Can you please post what ammo came in those cans? I'm going to start digging for a pair. Thank you for posting this info!

I have seen those cans carry both 50 cal and MK19 ammo. 50 cal is the M2. Probably other rounds also that i can not remember right now.

Here is a link. It is called a M548 ammo can.

Your local Army / Navy surplus should carry / be able to get them.

Not a problem at all.

Wish i would of kept abot 50 of them while i was in. Always had to turn them back in though.

Yeah, I saved some .50 cal, 25 mm, and 7.62 cans from going overboard when I was WEPS on the ship. I still have and use them, but they're too short for this application. Thanks again.

Glad Darin was able to set you straight, Jon. I have no idea what these things were used for, so I'm glad he did:D

Picked up some more parts this weekend, and my RemFlex gasket showed up today:

Now to find the time to put all of this in.

Got a little more done today. Had Laura help me replace the hatch glass with my old glass and install the new rubber lock strip that Kevin sells. Took out the old window and found the following:

So it got masked off, sanded and painted with my zinc rich tractor paint. ( overspray dust was quickly wiped with brake cleaner )

Installing the lock strip was pretty easy. Starting was the hardest part. Once I got 2-3" installed, I was able to persuade the rest in with some silicon spray and a flat head screwdriver. Definitely not as difficult as the pessimists have said it was.

Side windows, a valve adjustment and *hopefully* the intake fix will come this weekend.

nice,

You keep this up and soon you wont take it any where near the woods. All kidding aside looking good ,real good.

Hope you can get the carb / intake / exhaust manifold done soon. Did not sound good the other day.

 Thanks Doc! She'll go out in the woods, that's for damn sure. I'll be a little more reluctant to lean her into a tree, but she'll be in the woods.

No it did not, nor does it today. I'm so close to having it run perfectly that I can smell it :D
