Wow just read your whole thread haha. Only read the last few pages before.

Well….. It has been an incredible journey. Almost 11 years to the day that I started this thing. Lots of ups and downs… I have met and made more friends building this old truck than I ever thought possible. I can’t say I could ever imagine things would turn out to be this good when I started this so long ago.

Things come and go in life and I find myself at a cross roads here.

I have purchased a new 40 that I fell in love with years ago, it recently came up for sale. It is in a state of needing some work and repairs. I have made the decision to sell the 74 as there is no way I can keep both of these trucks. It has been a decision that has been very difficult for me. I can remember many times when this truck meant everything in the world to me… I can also remember times when I never wanted to see it again. At the end of the day it’s been there for me when I needed it, needed the distraction from life. It has taught me the lesson of patience, failure and accomplishment.

Today I took one of my last real rides…..

I took the girls to the lake…. Made it official! (she said YES!) I can’t think of a better place or a better person to share the last memories of this truck with than her!.

I am very excited about the next step with my family and my truck. Here are the very last pics of the 74 on this thread… I hope it will go to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have.

Congrats on the new ride.

Awesome man i forgot to keep looking for what you picked up!!!

Is there a plan for this one?

Ill be honest i prefered the previous one haha

They are both great. This one is better for me with the hard top and the v8. Better for longer trips.

Collecting parts for a year minimum. Got new bumpers, a winch, oem fenders so far. Still have list of many many parts to buy. Then goibg to do a minni resto.. body on.. hook up aux fuse box. Light bar. Yj rear seat. New roll bar. New dash.

Got new oem wheels and 33x10.5x15 bfg mt sitting in shop.

Nothing much happening for one year, want to get ducks in a row
