True it is. But there is nothing that is even close as far as looks.. it seems very high quality so i know it will wear well.

New rear lights and 4plus guards... so awesome. Never been let down by 4plus products..

Could you share some pics of the under hood AC set up sometime? Just getting around to finally installing mine, and would like to see what others have done for hose routing etc. I just have a standard SBC, nothing special, but looking at others work helps!

Cheers!
PS: Very nice replacement rig for your other one...never thought it was possible with as much as you put into that brownie!!

Congrats on the new truck and wife! About time you got a MASTER! :D

Was looking at the under hood pics and thought, "Where in the hell are you going to put the wires for the new harness I am building?" It's a bit crowded under there! I am waiting on some parts to finish it, but it is mostly built! I have to travel Thursday/Friday for my day job, but should be able to finish it and test it this weekend.

Awesome.. i am excited to get it. I have skots open in the fuse box. My plan is to install tge converter box somepkave high on firewall. Run the wires down the frame rail.

Well.. it happend. :) we drove north about 3 hours to the north shore of lake superior for the wedding. Cramer was there in the 45. Truck ran great, longest trip to date. Professional photos to come yet. Here are a few cell phone photos. We are going to be heading back up there for our honeymoon on a weeklong adventure in the 40. A few prep things to do until then. More to come.

Spent 4 hours last night wet sanding and buffing the driver side rear quarter and rocker panel… started out with 1500 and worked my way up to 2000 grit paper… then used 2 buffing compounds…. Keep in mind I have never used a buffer before either… so I taped off all sharp edges as the guy at the paint store told me to do… I have to say it looks so great!!! There is sooooooooooo much depth to that color once it is sanded out…. It probably could have used a little more buffing to be a better… but I don’t want to push my luck on it any more for now… threw on the fender flare and the rock slider for show…

Just a few pics… but they defiantly do not do it justice…

I cut my thumb pretty good with a razor last night… not like bad enough were I need stitches but I think bad enough that I will not be able to wet sand today.. I am going to try with my left hand mainly but don’t know how that will work…

Great build thread! It has been awesome to read!
Wondering if you remember the type or make of the fender flares you used??
I need to put some on my FJ 45 and like the subtle look of the ones you used...
Thx

Steve

Thanks!

I think i just ordered them from ccot or spector. I believe they are bushwacker, but i cant remember. Not sure if the wheel opening on a 45 is the same or not
