Wow! Haven’t checked in with this thread in a LONG time. Absolutely shocked you sold your rig! This resto thread has been one I’ve judged my own efforts against (and found them lacking) for many years now.

Onwards and upwards I suppose. Congrats on the new rig and marital status! They both look like keepers. Keep us posted.

Cheers!

Did you forget "goose dies" haha

Looks like a totaly diff rig with the stocks on it! Id never consider changing away from stock steelies!

Wiring project has started. Spent time sunday getting the new battery and winch cables made. Used 2/0 wire. I purchased a crimping tool and cutter so I could make them how i needed.

I then hooked up my wireless winch controller and installed the rope.

Ordered a bunch more parts for this project last night. I started mocking up my aux. Fuse box location. I am doing everything in kydex first then i will make in metal. (You will see the yellow kydex)

Way more to come.

Well I mocked everything up. Took a pile of time. I decided i liked it so i put finalized my aux fuse pannel. It has relays for radio, front LED bar, back LED bar, and my power port additions ( more to come) my heated seats are hooked up. I have put additional key-on power for additions. Surprisingly I only have 2 fuse slots open :). ARB are hooked up to the system also.

Stereo hookup next.

I wanted to add more power outlets and didnt want to cut up my new tuffy. So i came up with this. I think the part that came with the tuffy was supposed to be used in some vehicles. I mounted it under my cup holders. I added a double usb and another regular port. Another double on top. Also ran a port out back for use with arb fridge or something. Lastly i ran a simple volt meter on the side. All ports and meter turn on with a switch on dash. Its hot all the time, but i still wanted a switch.

Still waiting for a switch pannel i ordered. The po cut the dash for the radio so its been a pain to find something that fits and looks decent.

I got a new dog Freddy in April, she is a professionally trained/started dog. She was being trained by a nationally ranked trainer field trials. Her personality is too soft to be a national champian so he sold her to me. She is a wonderful hunting dog and is doing awesome for only being 1 yo... we just love her.

Do you know of a good solution? Right now i ordered a 6 switch pannel... but it need to be screwed in.. not really excited about it.

Are you getting a switch panel to fit a modern DIN radio cutout?
