Nice job on your shop stove. I like the wall penetration, keeps roof free of potential leaks. I have the same cast iron kettle. Looking for a stove now, have a propane unit now but want a wood stove to save money for the 40 rebuild.

Stove looking good Mike!

Thanks Bud!

Agree! I hate cutting holes thru a perfectly water tight roof, better safe than sorry. It took me a long while to complete this project but was well worth the wait and I'm very pleased with the results.

I got around to doing some work on my cruiser today. I painted the new to me taillight protectors and installed them with brand new bolts.

Mike, your running out of stuff to do on your rig. I think it's time to fix up another.
Dave

Ha ha, hey Bud, not really I still have quite a few thing left to do. However, I'm looking for a 1984 BJ42 Canadian with an OEM 5 spd and power steering and it has to be sand dune in color. I've been actively looking for over a year now, I did find one about six months ago but the seller flaked out and didn't sell it to me, so the search continues.

I just constructed a sound proof room for my air compressor, the compressor sound was driving me nuts, hopefully things will be a little bit quieter now, I'll post some pics tomorrow.

How's the thumb Dave?

I had a feeling you were snooping around on the side for another one. A diesel rig. My, my, my I think your going to be building a dog house soon for you to sleep in when your wife finds out. :rimshot:

My thumb is getting slightly better. I've been busy with work lately pulling levers.
I've been looking too :poof: My rig was actually suppose to be a daily driver. Now, I'm going to be afraid to drive her :(

As far as the dog house, my wife:princess: supports 100% of my hobbies, decisions and vehicle purchases, I'm very lucky to say the least!

Here's the air compressor enclosure (closet) that I just completed building, insulation is next for sound attenuation.

I had couple of minutes to troubleshoot the wiring and found the culprit that was causing a short and promptly fixed it and installed the console for the last time. Here's a pic energized and illuminated console. Also installed the new matching visors.

I also started my ConFerr roof rack installation with a few modifications to the roof brackets since the rack is only 54" wide and it needs to 60" for the bracket to reach the roof gutters. I purchased 3/4"x1-1/2" tubing and cut it down to 12" lengths to extend the rack width by 3" on each side.

3" shy on each side

More fabrication to follow.

Wish I could fit one of those lifts in my garage. :crybaby:

Sure thing Dave! It all depends on the available headroom in your garage then chose the correct lift, they come in all different sizes!

The lift is definately bitchin........imagine what you could do with that!!!! Nice Mike.

I fabbed (6) 3/4"x1-1/2"x12" steel tubing extensions for the ConFerr roof rack brackets

Drilled them to bolt on the underside of the rack
