Here is a shot of an exoskeleton (sorta). I saved this shot years ago. Its more of a serious support for a heavy rack but it is interesting. I believe it was a project done by legendary knight Royal Rose but I could be wrong...
Anyway I really like this piggy! Would be better with a two tone paint job however...

LOL that exo is for sale locally, I have seen it in person. If is big and bulky though, I would not go that way personally.. I might be interested, I hate the idea that a 55 needs a roll bar but honestly probably good idea. Look forward to pricing of course :) Andre

so where are we at with this? any chance its gonna happen. would metal tech be willing to make a prototype and then...?

here's the response I got from Mark, at this point there is no firm date, if you are interested I would probably call Mark at metaltech direct and express your interest, I have a ways to go on my pig, so I can wait, but will asses the situation when I get to the point that I need to install a rollbar and if mark doesn't have one by then I will probably just build one myself, my buddy has a bender........

Noah,

Thank you for the heads up on the post! Yes my local piggy guys pointed that post out as well. I am just about to move my shop to a larger location this next week. This is tossing me into scheduling issues with all my orders but the move has to happen. I have a supper straight pig lined up to come in as a model to develop a proto-type in the next few months. I see the request for a pig nose guard came up again. I have been ask that in the past. I may see what I can do on that as well. That’s a tough front end to make work with tubes, lots of lines going on.

Yah. My little stocker 76 is the "supper straight pig" to proto this cage. Working with Mark this weekend to get the shop moved and we will try to pin down a time to get my pig in for the mock up. We orginally talked and started planning this for my (now sold) SOA 55. Don't plan on using this new 76 in the same manner as the old pig but, better safe than sorry and I'd love to see MT offer some 55 stuff.

I'll keep you all posted.

Is there still interest in a roll cage kit? Metal Tech will be going full time this month and we are looking to start cranking out new products. If there is enough interest generated we will look into building a kit for you guys.

If you can give me a ball-park price and a rough idea of what the final product will be, that would be dope!

I'm certainly interested in an internal cage for my pig, but I want to make sure it will work for me!

I probablly need 2, If you could do one and post some pics, estimated price, estimated shipping I would know for sure. Thanks.

I may be interested. Need details, would they be weld in or bolt in?

I would probably be interested as well. I would love to support Mark and all of your efforts in creating Pig specific parts.

(Slight hijack...) If you guys decide to crank out any more sliders like the ones you put on Brian's old rig I would be totally into buying some of those! (Hijack over.)

Might be interested.Ballpark price and pics would be cool when ya get one together :D

Also very interested

Ditto pricing/shipping cost. Depending on availability I'd be looking at an early next year purchase time frame (February). Pix and pricing when available please.

I'm interested!

I may have to put off a few other projects to afford one, but the peace of mind would be worth it in the long run ...
