Woo Hoo! Fixed all of the rust on the Wilderness Wagon (finally named it). The last piece to the puzzle was the lip that holds the gasket on the rear hatch. I rediscovered my hatred towards welding thin gauge metal, but it came out looking pretty nice. I just slapped on some spray paint until I get around to re painting the whole rig this summer. Pics:

Dude I love it. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Agreed man, it definitely makes our big heavy rigs capable off-road. What kind of shocks are you running? I'm looking at some bilstein 7100s for the front and 5125s in the rear. Trying to make it where I don't have to run a sway bar because it's a pain to take on and off all the time.

I'd have to look at them.. They are rubicon express. I'd say just take the sway bars off. You will get used to it.
I ran no sway bars for a while... Way to much body roll with my current setup.

Had fun at the "lone star roundup" in mason, tx yesterday. Met some cool guys and did a little bit of wheeling. Pics:

It is definitely a great opportunity to put faces on names, and learn a lot about cruisers. Some of the trails are very insane, Moonshine would have a blast out there!

Made some progress on my traction bar this weekend. Sadly didn't get to finish it, but I will be back home in a couple of weeks to get the bars welded in. Here are some pics of what I have so far.

The bars just need to be welded on and it will be complete!

Hey thanks blue hawk. How is your rig coming along?

The frame is off to powdercoat right now. The front axle is off to powdercoat. Almost all of the body work is done. ARB lockers for F&R are being installed on the 3rd members. Stull got a ways to go but it's getting there.

That's awesome man. I know I've probably said this 10 times before, but your rig is going to be sick when It is all buttoned up.

I hope it looks as good as it does in my mind

When is the next time you change your gear oil? I see lots of people with cut/turn move the fill plug on the diff cover higher up, I think that would a good idea.
